Glad I was able to see the paper a day ahead at my job so I can know ahead of time that this will be yet another week to skip.

Perhaps We can eliminate Dez, Les, Ox, and Gunther since (According to the Strip of April 13th) they don’t need “branding.”

Since BATUBS is back on campus, perhaps it’ll be a student there.

Stef, maybe? Maybe not. They couldn’t find a brand BIG enough to fit her over inflated ego.

She had a lonely childhood and had a wicked stepmother who probably did an emotional damage to her. She lives in the mansion alone. She is rich but doesn’t have a load of friends and no boyfriend. She likes a boy but her meanie roomie has her hooks on him. I don’t see anyone more miserable than Tiff. Piro has a different problem having to look after his younger siblings while his mother recuperates which is a temporary situation. I suspect that otherwise he’s not as miserable as Tiff.

This college is like Tiffany’s mansion: a large, empty place with no people, no off campus gathering places, no classrooms, no big library. Creepy.

So … Luann is content with living life, growing, maturing, and learning. But the master manipulator and her blond cohort aren’t happy with Luann being content with living life, growing, maturing, and learning HER way, THEY think she must live life, grow, mature, and learn THEIR way. This rebranding BS almost sounds like indoctrination.

It’s not the business plan that has a flaw. It IS the two people pushing it who are flawed, big time.

If you want more miserable people, look in the mirror.

Tiff and Bets are both looking pretty miserable: maybe they could start with themselves and do a little self-help.

Looks like we’ll be seeing more of Piro.

Bets and Tiffany need Dez to find out what they are doing, make them understand that they are doing it wrong and help them find a way to rebrand Luann that give value to her positivity and curiosity. Because after promising her a rebrand, they have to give one to her. Or they could try their business model on themselves… I wonder who their next choice will be, maybe Ox or Les? A new character? If Bernice stopped by because she wanted to say hello to Dez, it would be the perfect opportunity.

Jeesh! Let this end. Weeks! Blah.

They want someone who is depressed? That’s not a rebrand, that’s therapy.

They had a perfect ending to this story. Luann winning, Bets and Tiff losing – but no, they have to drag it out and it’s probably going to go on for three or four more months, as they work their way through all of the college age characters in the strip. The big question is, will Tiffany be wearing her work uniform the whole time?

This cartoon is about to become worthless if this story line continues.

Luann comic strip is chock full of dysfunctional characters needing a new brand.

Luann says one of her passions is humor, yet her jokes are so cringeworthy she makes Fozzy Bear look like George Carlin. And when’s the last time she did any singing?

Gee, turns out asking the biggest airhead in the strip for help didn’t pan out. Who would’ve ever thought?

I always like and read Luann for its eclectic and humorous topics. But this one just seems to bore me to death – and it seems to be dragging out. Anybody else bored, or is it just me?

This really comes across as which poor miserable person we can feed off of for money.

Funny enough, Luann’s video provides lots of useful information. They see it as useless but in truth, if they analyzed it, they’d realize that the business is not about rebranding but helping people brand/find themselves. Luann said she likes all those things and does all those things, but how often does she reflect on the information she provided. If anything else, her being silly and not taking it seriously has allowed them to create a video of a person who is still not clear on their direction in life but can be guided by themselves. I bet if they had Luann watch and listen to the video, she’d learn a fair amount and do some good self-reflection (oh who am I kidding Evan’s wouldn’t let that happen). Their business model is like the movie, Hitch, trying to make someone into something by having them just be them without letting them know they’re being them.

Nil is a good candidate.

No, you need to abandon this fantasy of yours and do something meaningful.

oh to be young. Make her brand as simple as you wish. She is a good friend to both so when ppl see her they will see the happy Luna and think the brand is working. Seeing she wants her friends to do well she wont say other wise and their first client will come off as a booming success. This will open the door to more insecure clients that their business is really suited for. (yes I know it a comic)
