LOL as if the theological debate wasn’t bad enough, you want to drag in the politics?

Well, saying that life arose by chance and all life evolved from that is mostly making up stories to tie together what’s supposed to be scattered data points. I suppose one could just get along through life not being concerned about where we come from or if there is anything more to it. I think a lot of people aren’t far from that, including a large percentage who go to places of worship and identify with one religious group or another. I was just saying it’s not nice to come off as a know-it-all and anybody who believes otherwise must be an ignoramus or worse. I believe I can make a good case for what I believe on several grounds, but as someone pointed out, all the arguments have been made so you can find them elsewhere, and this isn’t a good place for them.

Ah, reminds me of that great Muppet skit with Fozzie and Kermit. “Hiya, hiya, hiya, I’m really glad to be here!” “Good grief, the comedian’s a bear!”

Oh, I was taking your word for it! and I’m surprised at the symptoms of old age at “only” sixty-something, but glad for all the blessings I can still enjoy, which now include lots of memories.

Just not one named Jessica. If he did, he’d have let everyone know about it.

Beside the point, Baldo, but, yeah, not funny. Also not work.

Ah, yes, you have to be careful in your wording; it can be a fine line between hearty praise and backhanded compliment, and in text where people can’t hear the tone of your voice it’s even trickier.

“Invisible sky fairy” is a rude, demeaning, inconsiderate term which ignores or willfully misrepresents what other people believe and makes it easier not to believe, suggesting a need to resort to such playground wordplay to bolster one’s own position. It is unbecoming of a long history of serious discussion.
