This is a nice surprise. Tiff could still end up being the marketing person for the partnership, given her dad’s wealthy connections. It would be a natural thing to cater the high society weddings.
TJ and Tiff may be about to form a catering business.
We are still left to wonder what 2020’s personal effects on Dez are.
The question of COVID being a factor is valid, but the whole year has been a series of events going wrong. It may be that Dez can’t compete because a loved one of hers’ has been lost to violence, and Dez is maintaining her outward serenity by comically opting out of the self-centered, “my life has gotten worse than yours” talk between Lu and Bern.
We all saw this coming. JackBern is gonna be a thing, but will it be a 1-way or a 2-way street?
Those rocks will be at the bottom of the fish tank really soon.
Many of us saw this coming, as this arc started. I’m a bit disappointed, since I had forecast Lu-Jack previously. Gonna get interesting from here.
Bernice’s eyes in the last panel would seem to support what I said in my last post. Is this the beginning of JackBern?
Is this a beginning? I’ve called for a Lu & Jack romance, but our titular character seems to be stuck in a high school mentality, whereas Bernice is definitely more serious, and future-focused. Is Jack about to have “a conflic’ of interests?”
The stage is now set for the two BFFs as roomies. Bern’s career path now becomes a key story element.
