I realize this trip was over 40 years old. That was the point of my question. Would Charles Schultz, if he was alive today, been able to publish a strip with is the type of action?
Could this be published today or is it outside the norms of acceptable behavior and considered dangerous? I’ve often wondered about movies like Blazing Saddles.
I didn’t realize that. Suddenly the strip has become 1,000 times more relatable.
I definitely clean and enjoy it. I just do it when she’s not around so I don’t hear the sound of gnashing teeth and the cacophony of four letter words emanating from her pie hole. My kids learned early on to stay away when she’s cleaning. Even my dog finds safety in a remote area of the house. Pre-lockdown: me coming home and thinking “that’s strange. Prince usually greets me at the door. Oh crap. Let me get out of here.”
If it doesn’t give you joy, don’t do it. But don’t ruin another person’s happiness with your infantile rages. Grow up. (Apparently this struck a personal chord for me which explains why I stay away from the house when my S.O. cleans)
I was wondering the same. If he’s streaming it why is there a speech bubble?
This was before leash laws. The golden age to be a dog.
The “I’m from a small town just outside of Chicago” is from the mockumentary “the Mighty Wind”
Cut to the chase: get a blindfold.
