During my school days we had the threat of the cold war. Today it’s more localized. Always something. Caution, being alive is hazardous to our health. Crazy world.
I used to stay in a cottage on Lake Huron in Michigan during the summer and one evening as I sat outside enjoying some smoked trout I watched the seagulls coming in from the lake to roost on shore. I wondered if they would detect the remains of my trout if I laid it out on the rocks.2 seagulls came down and devoured the late day snack leaving only the bones.In the morning even the bones were gone. I wonder who ate the bones?
I had a cat named Hepzibah. Great cat she was too.
