Just a reminder, with all this ‘whataboutism’, Ted Rall was a regular contributor of Sputnik, a Russian State run news site until recently.

Wait wait wait… Elizabeth Warren? You mean the candidate you constantly threw under the bus when she was still in the race? The candidate who you and other Bernie folks called a ‘snake’ and vilified despite, you know, actually doing progressive work? Let’s be honest here, Ted, you didn’t give a rat’s behind about her until your precious Bernie once again failed to deliver. You made this bed, now lie in it. Don’t lie about it.

No, I’m judging someone who thinks that schools can ‘opt out’ of teaching students with special needs, plagiarizes her own written answers to the senate, and doesn’t even know that teachers buy their own supplies like pencils for their students.

  4. about 7 years ago on Glenn McCoy

The only reason those schools are failing are because of repeated cuts to school budgets and unreasonable strains put on teachers. Where does the money for charter schools come from? The public school budget. Charter schools on average to no better than public schools, and make their investors rich by paying government money for their buildings and materials, while scrimping on the actual money to hire competitive teachers and proven education tools. Schools don’t ‘compete’ against each other, so your point is moot anyways.

Her name is ELIZABETH. And why can Cruz call McConnell a liar and not be rebuked, but Warren reads a letter from the great Coretta Scott King that had been already read into evidence during Sessions confirmation hearing during his failed appointment as a federal judge, and she’s silenced?

With a clause included to help the minority religious refugees from those countries first, ie, Christians. So yeah, it’s a ban on Muslims. Just like he said on the campaign trail.

It tells you something that people who support Trump always claim that he wasn’t mocking Kovaleski (even though it was pretty obvious he did, and if you watch the ‘examples’ they trot out of Trump mocking other people, they are vastly different- he obviously was trying to mock the man’s disability). Yet, when Trump’s favorite actress (yes, he said so via tweet a year ago) stands up against him and his horrible behavior, the best they can do is spread fake news using edited footage of her. http://gizmodo.com/that-gif-of-meryl-streep-mocking-a-disabled-person-is-t-1791022876Really shows how desperate those supporting Trump are getting when shown over and over that their man is the bully con artist that everyone said he was.

  8. over 7 years ago on Ted Rall

Ah, yes, all the ‘reasonable’ decisions you were praising, Rall.

  9. over 7 years ago on Ted Rall

Ted Rall is a white, heterosexual male, so appointing a man too racist to be a federal judge to attorney general, a woman who is known for trying to defund public school to secretary of education, and a white nationalist as his chief counsel is reasonable. It doesn’t effect him so why should he care?

Nobody complained about Tebow kneeling. They complained about his terrible plays, and the fact that he regularly tried to use his football position to deny women their right to chose (and repeating the false story about his mother’s ‘choice’ even after it was proven wildly inaccurate). Tebow was advocated for less rights, while Kaepernick protests for them. See the difference?
