LUANN is about the trials of becoming a young adult: the hilarity and drama, triumphs and flops, friendships and rivalries. Rich in character and intriguing "what'll happen next?!" stories, LUANN is a compelling saga of life's most volatile stage. Greg Evans was voted Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year in 2003 by the National Cartoonists Society.

Too much math…. it all adds up to catch 22…

The end of the school year is rapidly approaching. We found out a couple of months ago that this year they are juniors. The time should be at hand when we know for certain if Lu and crew are going to be seniors next school year. There has been more that one suggestion that soon they will be attending local colleges. There needs to be at least one year with them as seniors before they go to college. I see major story lines a year from now about graduation.

Or I should say doing math at this early time of day…
-Then again Luann is proving:“who says that you never need math”?

I see two of our lady friends looking at a magazine about makeovers. I see one doing school work. If I am right and a year from now they graduate, does this give you any idea who might be the valedictorian?

And wasting time keeping track of your car keys isn’t time consuming at all……

Time, money and energy… have to spend at least one, to save the others…

I like seeing the contrast between Delta and Luann, and Bernice and Luann. Also Bernice’s dry humor.

Methinks Bernice is not doing homework…she’s practicing being a counsellor by trying to, first, analyze Luann based on what she Is saying. Then she will inform Luann that she has a superficial way of handling her commitments to herself and her self- improvements. Then she will offer to help walk her through a sure-fire method of self-improvement in order to keep Quill out of Tiffany’s clutches.

Yep. The same person who is overworked, always stressed out, unhappy and hating life.

24 hours in a day just isn’t enough. Teens know this. Students know this. Even adults know this!

They’ll be seniors for at least three more years.

BTW, what happened with the drama camp arc? Did it take Sunday off?

“Too much math”.

Remember 20 years ago, a popular doll ignited a big stir by saying “math is hard”? (hard to believe too, that was 20 years ago!)

@alananda
what happened with the drama camp arc?
^
usually, sundays are like a day off for arcs, which seem to run Mon-Sat.
Speaking of, some wonder if we’ll switch up to another and come back to “camp drama” a little later…

@Salinasong
It’s one of those crazy and true things about life… lol!

Like, in order to get somewhere faster, you’d have to spend fare on a cab, or bus… or walk there… (or gas for driving…)
or to pay someone to haul junk away, or do it yourself..
or to cut down on bills, have to buy an energy saving appliance, plus pay for installation or do it yourself…
-
Many examples out there…
