Let’s hope they target Lalo for his political views.

Dear Mr. Alcaraz,
Did we read the same accounts of IRS perfidy? The “Chicago Way” is to make it tough for your enemies and easy on your friends. But it is not a way to run a government.
Sincerely,
In Doubt

And, the head of the I.R.S. when this whole mess started was a BUSH Appointee!
OOPS!!

@masterskrain
you’re blaming BUSH? Sooooo, Obama has had little George in the closet all this time telling him what to do, who to hire, who to keep – when to go on vacation or play golf?
It’s been 5 yrs dude. When does Obama really take over?

Mr. Alacraz’s cartoon is so far off the mark as to make it seem he is addressing an issue of which none of us are aware.
I suppose he’s pointing out that most of the applications have been approved, none have been denied, and a couple withdrew. However….
why is the “tea partier” upset he was approved? Gov’t overreach?
Not a good toon, Mr. Alacraz. better luck next time.
Respectfully,
C.

Does Alckie even read the paper? Targeted audits, ‘tell us if anyone you know is spreading misinformation about ObamaCare’, ’We’re going to reward our friends and punish our enemies’, etc., are the modus operendi of this POSPOTUS and his cronies.

@Bruce4671
He’s blaming Bush appointee Doug Shulman for not running the IRS well. Shulman was in charge when the policy that led to the targeting of groups using “Tea Party” in their names was implemented. I guess that’s too subtle for you.
The real question is why did these groups so fervently desire to get the IRS to recognize them as 501( c)4 groups? It’s safe to assume that they would not have to disclose donors.
It all goes back to Citizen’s United.

@Uncle Joe
Really. Well isn’t that convenient. Tell me then, why this result?
“The president said he is holding the responsible parties accountable. Today, Secretary Jack Lew requested and accepted the resignation of the acting commissioner of the IRS Steven Miller.
Now who put him there? Did Obama not get told, did Obama have no input?
“Miller is a longtime IRS executive, and has held several leadership positions at the agency. He is currently deputy commissioner for services and enforcement. "
But following the current libeal meme “Blame Shultz”. Never ever take responsibility

Nice to know Obama is a Republican as he has repeatedly said what the IRS did was wrong. He also said he will seek criminal charges for those responsible for this action. NBC News reported the facts I stated.
