Pro tip: Whenever I get a vaccination, including when I got my COVID vax last February, I always make sure to have the person administering the shot promise me that it won’t make me autistic. It’s worked, so far, I think…

Unfortunately for me, I went into anaphylactic shock during my last flu shot. So no one wants to give me a COVID vaccine, and I have to go to an allergist to see if I’m allergic to the major preservatives in two of the shots…

Alphabetical order? What kind of a public health priority is that?!

In sunny, I repeat sunny and dry California we will vaccinate anyone over 16 and soon even younger.

I think autism has little to do with vaccinations. But I have someone that is a nurse that thinks so. I think she is wrong, but that is my opinion. She works with doctors and other nurses and she would get their point of view but still believes, so I am not changing her mind and will not bring it up. I believe she is wrong, but that no longer matters.

I’ve heard some people have a couple days of feeling slightly ill after the second shot. If you had covid during the lockdown this tends not to happen. I had covid, and no trouble at all with the second shot. Of course, I did have two weeks of feeling miserable and a month without a sense of smell and taste (and still not sure I’m back to 100%), but it was worth it to fly through the second shot with no after affects.

i know they are iconic characters – but wish that Hagar and Wiz were wearing their masks correctly. Of Course Snoopy is.

They are getting a LOT of practice giving shots, that’s for sure. I didn’t even realize my second one was done either. I don’t look. I had no effects on either shot.

Of course, you could get your shot and, like Harris and Pelosi, still wear your mask. Pretty crazy.

It’s funny how MAGAts insist that there wouldn’t be a vaccine if not for the Diaper Don, then they refuse to get it.

I totally get that there are some people – and not very many of them – who legitimately can’t do the vaccine. Everybody else who refuses to do the vaccine is nothing but a lousy freeloader, relying on the rest of us to keep them safe and healthy without contributing anything to the effort. Those people just plain stink.

Hey! Some of them are wearing their masks wrong. Granted, the way they’re drawn they probably need a second mask for their nose. Speaking of masks, even if you’re vaccinated, you still need to wear them! The rest of us just can’t take your word for it, even if it’s true!

Which arm did you get vaxed in, readers? My nurse said my dominate side. I did read later, that that is now considered correct. They want you to keep the vaxed arm moving.

FYI – I am 71 years old, have not had the flu since 2004; over the last 4 years, I have a spoonful of organic garlic and buckwheat honey every morning. I can not remember the last time that I got a flu shot (90’s, probably) and I have absolutely not intention of getting a covid shot. It will be interesting over the next several years to see what the actual side effects of the covid vaccine are; I suspect that they are going to be horrifying…….

I’m surprised Lio isn’t referenced. At least he started wearing masks before any other cartoon characters!

the amount of people getting vaccines is less now because of them being hesitant because of the side effects or not enough testing of the vaccines, so all the other comics should be able to get there vaccine sooner than later. yesterday when i was getting groceries the pharmacy there made an announcement that they had 1 dose of Moderna available to anyone in the store who wanted it….never thought i would ever hear an announcement like that after how things were just a couple months ago….WOO-HOO!

The woman administering the vaccine looks very much like Representative Wheeler from last Sunday. I guess masks can do that. (but wear it anyway!)

I have a serious phobia about needles. I’ve been shot stabbed and blow up but needles scare me. When i was a kid and we first came to the US i got sick and had to go into hospital getting shots around the clock-in a strange land almost no one I knew near me and sadistic bitches waking me up in the middle of the night to harpoon me. It gave me a deep seated fear.

I got the jab this Thursday and resolved I would not screw up. I barely felt it.

Vaccines are one of the greatest medical breakthroughs that we have, they positively affect the collective body of the human community.Vaccine conspiracies, like so much modern cult conspiracy cultures, perpetuates itself and lives on indefinitely thanks to social media.

Yesterday morning I got my second Moderna shot. After several hours no side effects up to bedtime. During the night I woke up with body aches and a headache. Also dealing with fatigue but I trust by tomorrow I’ll be feeling just fine again. The shot itself is nothing and didn’t feel a thing. People who haven’t been vaccinated need to get over their fears. Even those who hate needles won’t be bothered by this shot. Now the side effects after your second visit be prepared to feel lousy for about a day and eventually we can all throw out the masks

This really made my Sunday.
