Blind, barefoot and pregnant. The GOP dream. But I don’t think she is married.

There is some indication that they are just beginning to grasp that most of the people dying now are GOP voters. If they lose too many of their kind they could even lose the electoral college and thus the presidency.

The wheels turn slowly in those heads, but sometimes they figure it out.

Sure took them a long time to figure out they were getting rid of their voters. I suspect the wheels don’t go around very fast in most of their heads.

Yes the flesh and bones kind, not the ones made of stone. Except some seem to have stone hearts.

After discoverers, scientists and necessary mission personnel, then the soldiers. And finally the tourists. Of course discovering The Americas was not quite as expensive as going to space, after all it was powered by wind and tides. So you start with founders of companies that make the means to get there, if they want to go and can get away from work long enough. This is to show it is safe and doable even by people not necessarily in astronaut shape. So billionaires advertising to other billionaires and getting the rest of the population thinking about the possibility. Placing the desire to be among the first to experience the adventure so you can brag to your friends about how it was out of this world and they really need to try it.

Got to make money off this thing somehow.

Intimidation does have a chilling effect. The Taliban learned that. Just kill a few voters you don’t agree with and make sure everyone knows it. Opposition voters get scarce. But Putin has it down to a science. And I would not think Putin was a big fan of true science except for poisons, bombs, guns, surveillance, cyber attacks and psychological war fare.

If it is not good for the 1% then it is not good according to the GOP. People don’t matter unless they are rich according to the GOP.

Perspective. What Biden did was the right thing under the circumstances and the circumstances changed. Given what he had to work with it went fairly well. Could have worked better IF, the local troops held positions, local government did’nt bug out before any real action, given more time by Trump agreement, the majority of the locals actually did not want the Taliban, we had understood the country in the beginning, we had left after killing Osama Bin Laden, we had decided for the locals they would become a democracy when history did not support this.

I have been looking at other countries for retirement. I have trouble with learning languages, I have tried 3 and did not learn enough to talk to anyone in that language. Pathetic. So I finally decided Canada or stay and resist so we might take back the USA. I will stay to help save democracy American style with improvements.I would still like to go back to Canada for vacationing, it is a nice place with nice people. And most of them are not crazy.
