“Separation of church and state” was a comment in a letter written by one of the founders (I’m sorry I can’t remember which but possible Ben Franklin) to another person in government. Not exactly settled law.
I had a niece who mooched off her grandma (my mom). She went through jobs like a used pair of underwear. “It was always the bosses fault.” Like I said she mooched off her grandma; so, grandma would foot the bill for her expenses. After grandma died my niece suddenly started being more responsible for keeping a job because there was no one else to foot her living expenses.
Ahh, and then the Democrat party has the same things. Biden has his age going against him and he misspeaks so much also. And, their convention is also a formality. I wish that both parties had a candidate that was 30 years younger.
Yes that’s what they rated it. There were some that believed it was beyond a “5” since it moved a 9-story tall hospital a little bit off the foundation.
Oh, I understand it. Unfortunately for America it also applies to Biden. Even though I’m a Republican I love to see a John Kennedy democrat running for office.
We had a leather sofa that started to mildew. We (thought) successfully cleaned and dried it up. However, it came back and decided we needed to get rid of it. No, not sell it; I couldn’t do that to someone. We called the trash company and arranged to have it picked up. The night before the pickup I hauled it off to the curbside and before I could get back into the house someone had stopped and picked it up. I’m sorry for them but they now had to deal with it.
I really liked one set of my grandparents (they didn’t divorce) but they lived 150 miles away and we saw them two times a year (Christmas and summer). Grandpa was healthy as an ox and grandma was as frail as can be. Unfortunately, grandpa came down with some type of cancer and died quickly. I wasn’t able to attend his funeral because my wife had just had our first child and was in the hospital (for five days, normal stuff in the 70’s). That’s been 50 years ago and I[m thankful for the great memories of him.
