I love this comic as it injects humor into my day. It gives me a real shot in the arm.

Marvel Comics writer Peter David might like to work in Florida or where ever they still use the chair cause he always is fond of the “shocking” word. As for death devices, I was always partial to the Iron Maiden, and I ain’t talking about the band.

I’d expect an executioner to be dead serious.

It’s exacting work…. when you hang someone, you can’t leave any loose ends.

I’d find it depressing… it’s the very definition of a dead-end job.

Even cleaning up after him isn’t something I’d like to undertake.

This kind of “off the rack” humor slays me…

Folks who love the guillotine say that it is the “Slice of Life”.

Needless to say, I choke and gag on hanging jokes.

Maybe he thought the strip needed a shot in the arm.

Albert Pierrepoint could give him a few pointers if he were still around.
