Back in 1997, Loomis Fargo was the bank that got hit hard….twice. Once in Charlotte (17.3 million) and Jacksonville, FL (18.8 million). I know I would have been tempted…it wasn’t armed robbery in either incident so prison time would have been only 10 years or so. The Charlotte heist is a great story about how they got caught.
I guess Horace didn’t want to be nagged!
Rory…..The new Richard Simmons of the Barnyard. I’m looking forward to seeing Stan ‘Dancing to the Oldies!’.
I did hear this morning that Aroostook County, Maine’s largest county (larger than CT and RI combined with a population of around 70K) has not had a confirmed case as of yet. Hopefully it will stay this way….we’re already well isolated from the rest of the state.
It’s Friday morning and it’s snowing. More snow due on Monday and then again later in the week. Yeah….Still Winter here in northernmost Maine.
Thinking back, I kind of wish now that when I was looking at career choices I’d have chosen a career that allowed me to wear flip-flops everyday to work. Now that I’m retired, slippers work just fine!
I understand why everyone is scared of the virus, but I think it is wrong to live in fear of it. Deseases have always been around and some groups are more susceptible to succomb to them. I equate fear with having bad karma….and I am of the belief that ‘karma’ does exist. Be smart and do what you can to avoid others, and of course wash your hands regularly….especially if you go out in public. Stay healthy and stay positive my friends!
It’s looking down on a man riding a bicycle while wearing a large sombrero.
