“They’ve got a lot of coffee ☕ in Brazil!” …Eydie Gorme
A friend of mine had a daughter who graduated from The Ringling Bros. Clown College College. Of course that’s gone, along with the college.

Back in the day, the Oakland A’s used a little person pinch hitter. Tighten up the strike zone and he’ll walk nearly every time!
Clever and accurate!
When I was a kid (we had 48 states and “under God” wasn’t in the Pledge of Allegiance) Lincoln and Washinton’s birthday were separate holidays. In the late sixties, or early 70’s, Congress passed a bill moving the vast majority of Federal holidays to Monday, so as to provide 3 day holidays. President’s Day became a day to honor all presidents. The old “honor the office, not the man” routine has met its match. I can’t honor “the office of the presidency”when the holder of that office, and the political party he represents, is attempting to destroy the democracy I cherish!
