Not sure I want to be either a pearl or a swine, but if I have to choose I think swine. Think of a pearls life, grain of sand that irritates an oyster so it excretes aragonite and concholin to form the pearl that are so admired.Swine are very intelligent, pearls not so much.Then there is rat. Intelligent and often difficult. A real pain for many.Pig usually docile, but don’t make a thousand pound sow mad.

Larry and Zeeba are always a great way to start the day.

How many people googled something like “what animals kill crocodiles”? Not counting humans (hat tip diskus), it turns out to be quite a few.

Zeeba can be neighborly. But only up to a point.

Actually, in a fight with a python, it’s a tossup who will eat who. I have seen pictures of these Everglades creatures doing that.

All crocs have to deal with is hunters who want their skins. They play a dangerous game…

Crocodillians have some compound in their blood that makes them highly resistant to infections. So that is just one more thing the crocs don’t have to worry about.

and that cholesterol problem comes from eating meat especially zebra meat. To know you is not to love you, is it Mr. and Mrs. Zebra?

Look up vids of crocs vs hippos. The smart crocs get out of the way of hippos before they get hole-punched with those 20" tusks

Crocs have nothing to fear? Someone’s never watched the Casual Geographic channel on YouTube talk trash about hippos! Hippos like crocs just fine — for a rag doll. They toss crocs around like a dog with a rope!

Why Croc say “Zeeba neighba”, but pronounces the “r” in “true”, “cholesterol”, “real”, and “problum”? Inquiring minds want to know.
