Joe has a point, ticket prices are insane. And the “convenience fees” are legalized robbery.

See, I’m just the idea man. You are the talent. It’s your name up in lights! Think of the fame, the applause, the public adoration. All for you.

I will just console myself with money and unbroken bones.

I’m still peeved about the designated hitter.

I have found that some of the tones used on electronics matches my tinnitus. Example: my wife came home and as soon as she walked in the door she screeched “What is that awful noise?” (In my addled state I replied “I haven’t heard one until now.” Not a wise response.)

She drug me by the ear to the basement where the water softener was beeping low salt. I could hear it when we were within 10 feet. Other things like the washing machine and oven have certain tones that are difficult for me to hear.

Baseball wonders why they are losing fans. But most fans can’t afford the ballpark. And watching the game on TV requires streaming subscriptions. They are losing fans because they make no effort to draw in youngsters to the game. The only affordable option is minor league parks, if you are lucky enough to have one nearby.

Built a lot of fence myself. Hard work, but kind of satisfying.

I stand corrected. Still fun to say.
