Who am I to argue with that logic. I agree with your mutual origin story. The PATB citation is where I likely saw it first.

I remembered (and confirmed through painstaking research) that Poit was used in Pinky and the Brain. Not as well known as narf, but there you are.

I like it, it seems familiar to me too. Maybe an old Johnny Hart strip?

    Poit?

I have to admit that my cursive skills are woefully lacking due to disuse. I never had great penmanship in school. All my notes in college were printed, I studied engineering so most of the notes were equations anyway. I do admire good handwriting. My mother’s handwriting was beautiful.

This certainly sounds like the plot for “The Miracle of Morgan’s Creek.”

Sun Studios is very worthwhile, but it is hard to justify a trip to Memphis solely for that. But there are many good live music venues and great barbeque joints. Someday when the craziness ends, consider a trip in May which is when they have the music festival, BBQ competition, and Memorial Day concert on the river. Fireworks for the 1812 Overture with real cannons.

Consider Graceland for the people watching and pop culture wackiness of it all.

What is the significance of two parallel lines? One line gets the point across.
