Well, I think it’s safe to say they had relations, since there was no Cheer leader moves punchline.

Kip is acting dense.. he can see Tiff is into him. I wonder how badly things will go between the girls when he leaves.

I was wrong, not super hottie to make Kip choice between three tarts. The lameness of this Saturday strip suggests that we will be moving on come Monday. Which would mean more Gunther whining.

For those of you who are continuously annoyed by this arc….they are (in the confines of a 3 panel comic strip) building a confrontation between the Tiffany of today with the ghost of Tiffany of high school days past. Character development within 3 panels. Good job.

I think my respect for Tiffany just dropped a few notches.

And as for Kip, he really is dumb. To begin with, he took Tiffany out to dinner, which, all things considered, did count as a date. And he did the even dumber thing by bringing Tiffany along to pick up Steph at the airport. As others suggested, Tiffany could have just taken an Uber home—and thanked Kip right then and there.

If Kip really doesn’t think that Steph is the one for him, he needs to have a serious talk with her. But then again, we’re dealing with characters here who have the common sense of a snail.

Kip is not worth fighting over. In ten years he and Stef will be Al and Peggy Bundy and Tiff will be running her own company.

Can we please move on?!

Oooh. Things might finally get interesting. At least I hope they do…..

Kip is dense and shallow at the same time. Wait—I guess they all are. All of them. Except maybe Puddles.

If she were only doing it to get to Stef, I might like it. But she is playing those old games, and she is disillusioned.

Kipitation? I think Kipetition seems better. Girls have good senses of other females encroaching on their guys. Tiff was also too obvious. If she were smart, she’d be more subtle and pull the rug when Stef totally doesn’t expect it. Throw her off by not being too obvious. When my husband and I went to a wedding, I noticed a married female flirting with my husband. I was amused because she was doing it in front of me. She was ignoring her husband who was clueless – like Kip. In our hotel room, I told my husband that woman was flirting, and my husband said “Huh? No, she was just chatty. I was just being polite.” I told him he was so oblivious. I was amused at him. Later on, he admitted I was right. She cornered him at the reception and put her hands on him. He was shocked and realized I was right. He looked at me and had the “help me” face. I noticed the woman stroking his arm, etc. I went yikes. Bold move. Enough was enough. I walked up to him and asked for a dance. He shrugged off that woman’s arm off and took me on the dance floor. I found that the woman was the sister of the bride whose new husband is my husband’s best friend. So, my husband asked the bride to ask her sister to back off. She rolled her eyes up and told him her sister did that all the time. Her marriage was not great, so she sought attention from other men, married or not. Oh boy. The point being men could be oblivious.

“There, Kids.”

“Miss Tiffany just demonstrated the concept of Asking for Trouble.”

I have nothing against fighting over a man, but can we wait until there’s something worth fighting over.

Stef must be really insecure to be worried about Tiffany.

I find it hard to believe a woman would help write this story line. Why would any woman give even 2 seconds of thought for a guy who still has the stench of another woman still clinging to him. Yuck.

Stefanie is smarter than she looks.

I suspect there may be a dekipatation coming up.

Tiff’s gonna be friendzoned, it seems. Kip is being written just like a side character. He’ll let her down, then he’s going to get less panel-time.

If I were Kip, I’d be bugged by Tiffany as well. Hard to believe Tiffany thinks every time she can rattle somebody’s cage that it helps her cause.

I can’t tell if Tiff is trying to be extra friendly to entice Kip, or to get under Stef’s skin. Though it seams only the latter was successful.

I hope Tiff doesn’t get any STD’s from Kip…but Stef does!!

Kip doesn’t seem to realize that the war has begun. I wonder how long it will take him to understand it. For now the only one who sees everyone of Tiffany’s moves is Stef. The situation can only get worse, but it’s fun to see Tiffany show off like this. In these tactics she hasn’t changed from when she was in high school. Let’s hope that during this story Tiffany at some point will realise that she’s acting like a little girl. Maybe talking to Dez, Bets, or (and this would be great) Gunther or Luann. Or maybe alone, wakeup and wondering what she’s doing. I don’t think Kip will end up with her.

Kip needs to get to the bottom of this Tiffany problem…

Huh….ok, I seriously thought Kip was just gonna leave it at that, but he’s STILL trying to defuse Stef even after that…ahem….“private session.” Stef, if you want to keep Kip, drop the attitude towards them both. It’s your childishness that’s gonna run him out………..ahh, who’m I kidding? Ditzes like her never listen to anyone but the mirror.

It sounds like Kip has no intentions of leaving Stef. Dinner with Tiff was not a date, he made that very clear, and Tiff is throwing herself at a man who has a girlfriend he gave a ring to, and the girlfriend is one of her roommates. Tiff is not being very refined. She’s being kind of sleazy.

Kip is starting to look like Brad.

I see trouble brewing of all kinds of Stef in a Tiff over Kip!

When you keep in mind that the Evan’s writes most of their main characters to be misguided, ineffectual losers, then this comic makes sense every day. Luann is always an unmotivated slacker, Bernice is a neurotic self-righteous poser, Tiffany is a delusional ego maniac, Frank is an oblivious jerk, Dez is a self-appointed ineffective mystic, Nancy is an unsupportive parent, Tom is an absentee parent, Brad is married but keeps a man friend, Toni is an enabler for her brother, TJ is a user-moocher, Al is an overbearing mobster, Irma is a doormat, Gunther is a mama’s boy, Les is brooding and disgruntled, Bets is a blog addict, Jack is conflicted, Nil is an artist with no ability and Shannon can’t decide how old she is. Tara and Piro have yet to display their failings, but give them time. All in all, if you are a connoisseur of human folly, this is perfect comic strip. Don’t make the mistake of expecting the characters to act rationally or intelligently.

Guess that confirms that it wasn’t cheerleading moves we were hearing earlier.

Darn, no new roomie appeared today. Maybe next week…

How will Kip feel when he realizes this has nothing to do with him and everything to do with Tiffany’s psychological obsession to compete with other women. Oh wait, that would mean he can figure things out. My bad.

Sexuality vs Personality

Hope they move on Monday. I dont like Steff and I dont like Tiffany going after somebody elses guy.

Tiff is being suggestive in a sweet and innocent way except she knows what she is doing and figures that if she is to have even half a chance with Kip she needs to be the complete opposite of Steffie who is suspicious, rude and domineering. I think Kip who is in the direct line of sight of Tiff may not be as clueless as he behaves. The Mooney varsity clothing that both Steffie and Kip are wearing says that they are a couple; but the events of the past week and going forward suggest that things could slowly change.

I hate to see Tiffany trying so hard to get Kip’s attention. He’s not worth it. Let’s get back to the Kafe and Ox. Or get a fourth in this quad. Liven up this boring arc, please.

The “Oh Jeez” coming from Kip who is in Tiff’s line of sight could be interpreted in more than one way…. I think.

Shake that money maker!

Kip gets sick of being a “prize” in fight between two immature girls and moves on. To a woman. As did Aaron Hill.

Huh, I think Kipp is actually clueless here.

Tiffany has not done anything wrong today. She is moving boxes into her dorm, which naturally involves bending over. Then she politely thanks Kip for dinner, which was nice of her. Too bad insecure Stef takes things the wrong way. Kip must surely be tired of Stef’s behavior by now.

I guess Kip would be a “mimbo”… (Seinfeld reference) a male bimbo. He’s good looking but not too bright.

Kip looks very annoyed at Stef in the second panel. She does not seem to realize that is how she will lose Kip, by her awful behavior, instead of some other woman being friendly to him. Stef should focus on improving her behavior instead of trying to keep every other female away from Kip.

Kip has not done anything wrong either. He thinks of Tiffany as a friend and clearly told her the dinner was not a date. He is not leading Tiffany on or being dense. He made his position clear.

I don’t know if he’s the captain of the football team, but he is definitely Captain Oblivious.

Play nice? But I want to see Stef and Tiffany play naughty.

Gasoline on the Fire…and Tiff’s enjoying it!

The more they show of Kip, the less worthy he seems. He knows Stef sees their relationship as long term and he doesn’t. I expect Stef knows how he feels because she keeps calling him and and having sex every day (maybe he’ll “realize” she’s the best he could ever get). But it’s really worse than not seeing a future — he doesn’t respect her and he actually tells other people that he thinks she’s low class. If Stef knew that he feels that way — and told Tiff — I hope she’d kick his football to the curb. Even Stef deserves better than that. And Tif should realize that a boy who’d sleep with a girl while trash talking her to her roommates is nothing but trash himself — no matter how nice he looks in a swimsuit.

I wonder if Tiffany would appreciate being thought as a “nothing”? d;o)

I cannot begin to tell you how satisfying it is to see someone stick up for Tiffany like that. Tiffany has gone through so much growth and development and yet readers and characters still act as if she is some horrible monster. I guess Greg still hasn’t gotten over the blonde who turned him down in high school. It’s good to see Kip treat her with genuine kindness (as opposed to how the so called protagonists have treated her) and stand up to Steff about she has treated Tiff.

They need private place for personal information? Why are they speaking in front of Tiffany?

Stef is about as sharp as a balloon full of jello. How, pray-tell, does she manage to stay in college?

Hyper-jealous Steffi is implacable. Kip has no idea why she is so fixated on Tiffany as a rival; he doesn’t even remember what “dinner” Tiff is thanking him for and Stef is fuming over! Is there a Cat Fight on the horizon? Does anyone really care?
