At least Tiff’s things are still there; Ann didn’t throw them out. I’m surprised Ann left it all piled up in a corner instead of having it moved to cellar or attic, or at least one of the extra bedrooms.

Okay. A lot of us assumed Ann got rid of her stuff. She did not. She just hastily and haphazardly packed them. Well, gotta say this is better than donating or selling her stuff. Still, why her room if there’s so many other rooms? Surely there are several guest rooms, reading rooms or dens. Admittedly, for myself, I would consider these rooms as Tom’s who still lives there and might be upset about changing those rooms. His daughter is away at college and isn’t using the room. I might choose that room. However, I would ask Tom first. How would he feel about repurposing his daughter’s bedroom from a teenage bedroom to a yoga room. He might offer to convert another room. I doubt Ann asked, though. Tom has so many room and it is likely his bedroom is at one end of the house where he spends most of his time so he might not be aware what Ann is doing with other rooms while he was away from the house and apparently does not care to know.

Good news: Tiffany’s stuff was not stuffed in a garbage can (as some speculated yesterday – which itself was not a bad speculation)

Bad news: “Two can play this game,” says Tiffany. What could possibly go wrong?

Other than, Tiffany’s revenge schemes usually don’t work out well – for Tiffany.

Tiffany, take your stuff, sell it, and disappear. Let your dad look for you everywhere. I personally think Tiffany needs to go to Paris and work for Simone. She should tell Simone everything her dad has done. Tiffany knows a lot about fashion, makeup, beauty—she could do very well in this field. She doesn’t need college at this point in her life.

Fighting fire for fire seldom works and usually ends in backfire instead. You’ll probably end up being fed up and leaving anyways to greener pastures. Just set it up temporarily for your needs, and stash it somewhere for next time is best where they would not find it in that monster mansion.

What is so sick is that there are actually people that are so full of entitlement that they’ll do this. And what is REALLY a concern is there are such desperate widowers (and widows) that settle for such a shame. It happens all of the time. Poor child. Talk about feeling unloved. No wonder she’s angry and afraid. It hurts. Let’s see if the Dad loves the new wife more than his daughter. Some do but I pray not in a comic strip. Maybe she’ll just pack the evil step mom’s stuff up and put it outside the door. We shall see….

If Tiff thinks she can do a tit-for-tat, it’ll backfire on her. Since her stuff is right there, I would redecorate the bedroom the way it originally was and then leave it that way. Put the mat and anything else that doesn’t belong in one of the boxes. Frankly, since Tiff’s stuff is still there, I think Ann is setting up some sort of trap.

Tiffany has had many challenges since being in college. She stood up to them, did her best with minimal whining, and has grown as a character. She sees more now than just her looks in a mirror. She has probably grown more than any other females in the strip. (Brad grew up more, overall.) I think Tiffany has to either come out on top of this now or just fall and fail.

I’ve said it many times today. Just in case anyone missed it:

Tiffany “winning” against Ann, getting Tom back, is probably the worst case scenario here.

The “new” Tiffany that many of us have come to love is the Tiffany who is striking out on her own, mistakes notwithstanding. She has grown.

The “old” Tiffany was the spoiled “poor little rich girl” who, quite frankly, was the villain of this strip – at least until the Ann Clan (including Al and Les) came along. I would hope that no one wants to see Tiffany return to those days.

And that is the biggest potential risk if Tiffany “wins” against Ann:

The return of Tiffany the witch.

I had a horrible thought… suppose that Tiff (either this week, or later) acts on her “heat of the moment” decisions and does something to either destroy, or sell/dispose of Ann’s property for “revenge” (and maybe run off to Paris afterwards).

Anyone think Ann will let her off easy? Ann might not even need Tom, or his insurance company. Nooooo….. Ann would hunt Tiff down like a dog, and eventually a deal can be cut… go to jail, or pay me back with interest. Under the same terms that Les paid Ann back for stealing from her. A form of indentured servitude where Tiff’s hard-earned money from her job (The Fuse, with Simone, etc.) goes to Ann, who fritters it away on trips to Cartier’s.

Whatever Ann is willing to do to her own son, she’d be twice as willing to do to Tiff!

Alright… This has gone on long enough! Ann Eiffel has gotten away with too many things for far too long. And the worst part of it is that Tom Farrell has deliberately been turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to his daughter’s suffering at Ann’s hands.

If Tom really wants to have that horrible woman controlling his life, FINE! But it has to be just his life, not Tiffany’s as well. He has no right expecting her to just follow suit, completely ignoring her reasons for not liking Ann.

Tiffany needs to use this time to look for a nice, little apartment. By the time Tom and Ann return, Tiffany will have moved out for good. Perhaps, if anything, leave a goodbye note. Then, she can focus on studying cosmetology, and make steps to starting her own business. The less she thinks of her father and Ann Eiffel, the better.

It will be up to Tom to decide if he misses his little girl enough that he finally wants to be a part of her life. Of course, chances are he’ll still need Ann’s permission.
