Actually, this strip is rather benign compared to the past strips in this arc. That just shows how difficult this arc is to read. Sigh…
Do a search on: tomahawk “johnny carson”
@mystery- Don’t pay any attention to what Trump says, it’ll drive you crazy. That’s it’s intent. It also serves to suck up all the air time. Because this tactic is successful, I am afraid others may copy it. Actions have consequences.
Sorry, that would be too intellectual for these two.
It’s not the poached eggs per se, Gunther’s whining for his old life, for mommy to do things for him, to baby him. GnK have spent – are spending – a lot of time setting up this character for a life changing moment. I hope it is good, because at least for me, the arc has been rather excruciating.
Actually, our brains don’t mature until we’re 21. But it is PC to refer to 18 and above as adults.
Yes. GnK have compressed a lot into a day. Still waiting to learn the arc’s point.
For example, is the pizza for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a snack? It’s just another vignette. The question is, what’s the goal of the arc?
We don’t know it’s the same day. GnK don’t usually show the passing of days. They just give us a series of vignettes and let us draw the conclusion. In this case we have had a whole series of vignettes beginning before this marriage.
I do understand there’s got to be a point to this arc within the larger plot. But I wish GnK would make it and move on. BTW, has anyone noticed how long Gunther and Les have been wearing the same clothes? Well, there was the issue RE using the washing machine. Pwewww!
