Hobbes is just trying to keep him busy. As long as Calvin’s making snowballs, he’s not throwing them.

The military is infamous for hoarding all kinds of weapons. When they get old and past their expiration date somebody starts a war so they can get rid of them. The Soviets are using the war in Ukraine to clear out tanks dating back to the Korean War.

To my fellow readers out there. I am not having any luck finding the Calvin and Hobbes strip where Calvin expressed that he doesn’t understand why he’s related to people he can’t relate to. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I’d appreciate it. When I do an internet search all I get is relationship advice and suggestions for therapists.

There is a critical parameter called “angle of repose”. If Calvin exceeds the safe limit, he could hit himself with 250 snowballs.

If Calvin needed 250 snowballs for every one thrown at him, he would need 62,500 snowballs. Assuming he can make one snowball every four seconds, how many hours will he be making snowballs?
