Summer of ‘72 I got a “real job” in the city, started at $2.00 an hour. Thought I was s__ttin’ in tall cotton after baling hay for the neigbors at 50 cents an hour.
Better than a tricycle with a kickstand!
She never did get around to clean restrooms.
“WOW lot’s of disinformation here. Modern electric vehicles “spontaneously” combust about as often as vehicle gas tanks do. I’ve seen 5 cars in my life, burning at the side of the road, none were electric.”
Quoting your own State-Run Media (Pravda) here P51: https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/news/chevy-offers-bolt-owners-6-000-to-waive-right-to-sue-over-battery-fires-update/ar-AA10dKrQ?ocid=msnews
1. The air/fuel charge does not “explode” in the combustion chamber. It burns. The resultant exanding gas drives the piston down the cylinder. Europe and the US have cleaned up emissions far beyond nations in the rest of the world. Go harp at them about “electric vehicles”.
2. Electric vehicles have toxic heavy metals in their batteries. The batteries can spontaneously burst into flames and are extremely dangerous and hard to extinguish. Safe and environmentally clean disposal of used batteries has yet to be accomplished.
3. OUR NATION IS NOT BACKWARDS!! Just FYI: Diesel Locomotives use electricity to drive forward motion despite the name ‘diesel’. A large diesel engine turns a shaft that drives a generator which makes electricity. This electrical energy powers large electric motors at the wheels called ‘traction motors’. So where do you suppose those “electric trains” in Europe get their power?
Auuugh!! Don’t hold a cat like that!!
After living down here in the desert South West for 31 years, I finally saw a rattlesnake the other day. I did not cave to my first instinct, which was to scream like a little girl and run but stood at a safe distance and watched him slither out of sight.
“How can I be in this comic without a dog?”
Yep, climate change is real, for sure. You folks come on out to our farm in Kansas. I can show you hard evidence of climate change. There is one catch tho, I understand from learned people that it took tens of thousands of years to make these changes.
I just learned a new word today!
