   There is no section “forcing” you to vote. You misunderstand. You can legislate mandatory voting just like you can set age or district or citizenship requirements on voting. Mandatory voting would force officials widen their appeal to an entire district needs, rather than tailor it to a small segment.

   Both the electoral college and filibusters are primary tools to legislate segregation and racial oppression. Soooo sounds like protecting someone’s rights-only if they are white males.

   Long before AI, there were computer programs developed to determine fair districts. They worked with primarily population and geographical features determining a voting district, not a politician’s marketing data.

   Interesting that you think in a democracy, the majority of votes is “mob rule”. Well, two of our worst Presidential administrations were elected by a minority vote and we are presently being governed on a state/regional level by a minority of voters. Also, our fates are determined by a few thousand votes in swing states. Hardly mob rule by any definition.
