It’s never explained why the Woman’s Sister is carrying around baby pictures of Elvis in her bag, but I like to imagine she found them at her place by accident and brought them over to give to the Woman.

I really want to see the pirate ballerina do a pirouette whilst saying “Avast ye scurvy cats!”

It can’t be good for Lupin to laugh so much.

Lupin’s reactions are priceless. As are Elvis’s. They make the humiliation complete.The way to cancel the humiliation enjoy’;ment of those doing the humiliation is to join in the laughter. It ruins the fun by there humiliators.

Elvis, it is time to bite the Woman.

Panel #3 is one of my all time favorites. (Right up there with the first Christmas special panel when Tommy leaps into his woman’s arms; the first Halloween special panel when Tillie and Freddie are reunited with a hearty, “I’ve been waiting for you old girl,” and the end of the peep toads where they are all dancing by the light of the moon! The Christmas and Halloween ones make me cry. The peep toads and pirate ballerina make me smile and literally LOL.

Pirate ballerinas are a real thing, though. Le Corsaire’s a great classical ballet…my favorite! The hero rescues a lady abducted by pirates. It’s got a marvelous. pas de deux and lots of chances for the guys to show off their leaps.

Just want to say to Creator Georgia Dunn thanks for the cat allergies and keep taking the time necessary to let your hand heal. Best to wait longer then jump back in to early leading to more time away from what you love to do.

Elvis in panels 1 and 2 – ears plastered back in outrage – is just perfect. I want to soothe him so badly, but you know the minute you put out so much as a finger, those murder mittens are coming into play!

Last picture – because of course fearsome pirate ballerinas sprinkle star dust on their enemies.

Something tells me that Elvis isn’t happy about this. I dunno. It’s just a hunch. Am I crazy?

Aha and avast! So that’s the origin of the pirate ballerina!

I enjoy reading the comments. It stretches out the enjoyment of reading the funnies as well as the camaraderie but by the time I’m finished I usually have nothing to add as most of it’s been said, some a few times. :D

Miscreant had a really dark stripe down his nose until the rest of his points filled in. He was so cute. Not as cute as Ballerina Boy but cute none the less.

In regards to reading orders mentioned above, what is everyone’s BCN reading order. I usually read BCN last because I like to read all the comments as well. So I run through all my other comics (also reading comments on several others like Amanda the Great, Cats Cafe and Snow Sez). Then on to BCN comic and comments. What are others’ habits?
