Looks like Luann is hot for Piro. We definitely don’t see her with that expression, she has in the 3rd panel, very often. This will sure be fun when Bernice finds out about all of this.

So will Luann quickly run to the ladies’s bathroom, and shave a star in her hair, to ‘create the spark’ ? lol

I’ve been picking up on some Irma Langinstein vibes from Tara ever since she’s been back in the picture with this particular arc.

That’s a pretty seductive look for Luann. I really don’t remember her showing out like that since senior high school and college. Anybody got an strip from the past?

Didn’t Tiffany try to distract Piro away from Bernice so that Gunther could pursue Bernice? And when Piro failed to take the bait, Tiff lost confidence and began her decline into chubbyness.

Has Luann forgotten she took several art classes with him? She may not know him well but she knows more than just “of him” from Bernice.

She also needs to remember not to date a friend’s ex. Rarely works out well.

I’m pretty sure Tara knows how to deliver a hot spark. This arc could get interesting – hopefully G & K won’t chicken out.

Luann knows Bernice lost the interest she had for Piro, this authorizes her to try… AWESOME! Love the way she looks at him in the final panel, she wasn’t so determined in ages. I want to see what she’ll do to conquer him and hope she, unlike Bernice, will be able to find out Piro’s story. She already knows more about him than Bernice ever did. I hope Jack gets involved in this story and that Tara will help both of them. That’s so fun!

They say you should write what you know. If Luann wants to write romance novels, she’s going to need experience. Maybe this is her chance.

I knew it t! Luann would find a reason to bring our “her” desire train for Piro handsome man of mystery (Jack is not in the same league as Piro, and I think Quill is also outclassed) l, Tara encouraging Lu, because she knows romance, recognizes a real opportunity for Luann, Luann shows her DESIRE in panel 3. So hot and funny. Bet Piro still pines foe Bern though.

Yup I called it. And look you CAN find someone intresting without being into them but like.. the implications were there. I normally woudln’t revel in winning at something this silly but.. well getting three comments rebutting it for no good reason was enough to warrant a little reveling.

So nobody else noticed that he looks almost exactly like the object of Bernice’s lust? Tiff’s boyfriend.

Luann is posing the way Tiff does when she wants to go after a guy (in the way she does). But Tiff tried that on Piro (once) and it didn’t work (he didn’t respond). In fact, I believe he liked Bernice specifically because she wasn’t like that, i.e. wasn’t sexually targeting him (even though she felt attracted). I think her saw her as being kind (giving him a space to sleep) with no strings attached.

Luann, you’re not going to try to seduce Piro, are you?

Being the lead character in a newspaper comic strip means you keep your spark cool.

I think panel 3 is the funniest pic of Luann I’ve ever seen. She might have a future as a comedian.

It’s a 500 word essay. If you type at 60 WMP then it’s less than 9 minutes. I’ve seen posts on this page well in excess of 500 words. Words are cheap in 2023

You can wipe that seductive look off your face, Luann. It’s been well established that you wouldn’t know what to do with a guy even if you got one. Pretending otherwise is a waste of both yours and Piro’s time.

Come to think of it, next to Tiffany, Luann doesn’t get that much action, if any at all. Bernice and Gunther are the ones who get a lot of the action from the opposite sex.

Why is Tara talking like a stereotype construction worker? And I see Piro is still wearing the same pink scarf. He must really like it to have kept it all this time. I am disappointed that Luann can’t seem to stay focused on schoolwork. She always finds a distraction. It looks like there’s a mix of some students using paper and pencil, while others are using their laptops. Is that normal for a college classroom?

This is yet another Lucy holds the football and CB tries to kick it before she pulls it away by G&K. It’s a set up people. They will never allow Luann to consummate a burning desire…for anyone! Quill, Jack, Gunther, Pru or Piro. Hey is Piro short for pirouette?

Oh, boy! Better start writing that paper! This can go wrong in so many ways, especially since “Piro” is still interested in Bernice. I’m sure tar will have a smart remark when she sees Luann’s expression! ;-o

Sexiest Luann look ever!

B) Luann goes out with Piro. Piro is bored the whole time. No more dating him. Bernice will still be jealous.

C) Luann successfully dates Piro! Bernice will be jealous! (It makes no sense. Bernice dumped Piro. Piro wouldn’t be with Luann, either.)
