My mother always cited the starving children in Armenia to get me to clean my plate. Even as a little kid, I could never figure out how that would help.

On another note: the above cartoon panel is an absolutely true picture of the dining room at the Golden Corral. Went once, lost my appetite, never been back.

Well I live up here and there is cause for alarm. Daughter and I were riding on the MAX train and a man sat down across from us and proceeded to tell us he wanted to kill all the women. Went on for about 5 minutes, then went and sat across from another woman and said the same thing/ before he got off!

We were scared to death. Walking down the street in downtown Portland means stepping over homeless, drunk or crazy people.

That was my Dad’s drink of choice. can’t tell you how many “sips” I had as a kid. Everytime he ordered one in a restaurant I would get a sip. Now days he would have been arrested.

Do I like whiskey now? Nope, yuk!

I know Route 9 was found on….Rt 9. Lily belonged to a rich little girl whose new step-mother hated cats, and This Side up was found in a crate. I don’t remember any others tho.

A neighbor finished one, and wore the tee shirt for a week (hoping someone would congratulate him). Found out he only “ran” the Fun Walk!!!

Just be glad they aren’t hissing and spitting and ripping ears! Blood is awful to wash out of pillow slips! LOL

Up here in the PNW we went from 90 to 65 in one day, and now it is finally raining! Yay! I LOVE the cold!
