It’s going to be a repetitive loop of #2 and #3 until everybody realizes that we just have to buckle down for two months. It won’t be over until that happens.

Go to war in Ukraine? Not going to go directly to war over Ukraine, but the response to Ukraine may escalate to war. But Putin is playing a dangerous game. If too many of his supporters go broke, then he probably can’t survive as the last of the kleptocrats.

The last time we got to take the masks off it lasted for about a month. In the beginning of February Denmark lifted all COVID restrictions.

“At the beginning of February, Denmark became the first major country to lift the last of its COVID-19 restrictions and effectively declare its part in the pandemic over.

Around the world, and especially in the United States, Denmark’s “liberation” from indoor mask mandates, vaccine passports and nightclub closures was heralded as a watershed moment — the shape of things to come. Democratic governors across the U.S. started rescinding their own mask rules a few days later.”

“Since then, however, Denmark has continued to record more COVID-19 cases per capita than nearly anywhere else in the world, and both COVID hospitalizations and deaths have shot up by about a third.”

Option 1 is in effect here and have been for a few weeks. However I feel for Ukraine, which are under heavy thread by an evil dictator with dreams of expanding his evil empire – something was sadly easy to predict back in January. It really sucks and if events turn out really bad it could be the start of the last World war.

1 if you are wealthy enough to attend the Super Bowl or be in politics. Then you can make your own rules or practice special breathing/holding your breath techniques which exempt you from the mask that you force upon the rest of society.

Closer to #1 than the media would like to admit. Stats are dropping like crazy. Where I live (Michigan) we are approaching the magic 50/100,000 per week new cases threshold where CDC drops the indoor mask mandate. It was nearly 100 times that around Christmas. Telling is all of the school districts that are dropping the masking requirement.

And guest writers have to come up with a 6-week storyline in a couple of days because they panic about deadlines. We then sit back and wonder how a character we cant recall adding pops up in the middle of the story.
