I’ll never forget the first time Battlefield Band came over from Scotland for their first US tour. They almost got completely stuck in between Florida and Atlanta for a Thanksgiving Day show here. They were completely blindsided by the traffic and holiday itself.
The movie was very different from the play. The staging for the play is extremely simply leaving it to your imagination to fill everything in. For instance, a “wall” is an actor standing in between the boy and girl with a stick in his hand. Maybe not for everyone. The same team wrote “I Do I Do”.
I love those cartoons about what the pets do while you’re away. The cats get on the internet and sell the dog. The cat’s lying lazily on the sofa changing channels on the remote while the bird says “You’re lucky you have paws”.
Was it Walter?
Mike reminds me of Henry Fonda.
The Fantastiks. They don’t make musicals like they used to!
Today is 1899 by the Germans who made Dark. Scary stuff.
I have a friend who started in the Navy in 1957. He wore a Mark V diving suit like that.
I put that up on twatter once and the young memers who’d never seen it had a fit!
