However, sometimes I look at the world and wish I was drunk, because that way, from what I’ve heard, everything insane I see wouldn’t be real, and it would fade to a headache, then nothing. The real world is full insanity with a double side of headache.
I hear the youngest adults yelling about how smart they are and how they are going to change the world…well, those of us who grew up in the 60s yelled the same things. So far it seems we have taken 3 steps forward and 2 back. Good luck youngsters.
I don’t get these comments on how many beers are better at room temperature. Look at the guy. Does he appear in any way to be some sort of beer expert? He just wants something cold and alcoholic and enough of it to forget his troubles.
In many countries warm ale is just fine. I prefer my amber at room temperature. And some like it with a red-hot poker stuck in it first.
The older we get, the more we appreciate the little things. I would not wish to eat a worm. Others consider it a source of protein. Which is the second point: some people are flippin’ loons.
You may seek salvation in beer/ a solution it just may appear/ but you’re bound to awake/ and your poor head will ache/ and you’ll find the same sh*t is still here.
Actually, many beers have something known as “flavor” which can be appreciated best when the drink isn’t ice cold… though I prefer it at “British room temperature” (not more than 60º F)

I disagree with panel 3, because I don’t drink.

When the beer is warm the flavor comes through more, but it isn’t as refreshing.

No Goat, no it is not. In fact frosty mugs in the freezer at the ready should be a law.

British “warm” beer. An acquired taste, perhaps, but I think one worth acquiring. I miss having a decent bitter here in the states.

Some beers (stouts, porters, browns) are better at room temperature.

Warm beer has more flavor and is nicer to savor.
