And how fast have conditions changed? And when faced with a national threat shouldn’t the federal govt. be there? I didn’t realize we’d readopted the Articles of Confederation?
Trump closed the borders AFTER the virus was already here. He was warned in January by his own people of the threat and downplayed it for several months. Instead of getting testing kits ready and establishing contact tracing for containment, he diminished the threat calling it no worse than the flue, this message being echoed in FOX News. And when you lay the blame for the reserves on Obama (“the lame” sorta shows your bias), remember Congress controls the purse strings and Republicans were very, very much in charge there. It has been a GOP default position any money spent by the govt. was badly spent and they cut wherever they could, so they get to bear some of the responsibility.
In short, Trump allowed the virus to enter unchallenged and actually helped it flourish. Yeah, he didn’t create it, but he sure as hell didn’t stop it or even slow it down. And what is the death to date? Almost 14,000 in less than a month. And he’s saying if we get 100,000 dead, he’s done a good job. Sounds like failure to me, but then none of my hats are red.
Unless, she is wounded too badly.
It’s also what they do in dictatorships until they reach the point, the vote just isn’t allowed.
I like your style.
Personally, I used jeans a lot but I always try for a collared shirt. Just not comfortable in a tee all the time.
Funny because it reflects nostalgia and present day.
Your guys, Chip, your guys.
Kinda sad (and traitorous) when your winning elections depends on you suppressing the vote.
The GOP wanted to ensure victory for a state Supreme Court judge, as I understand it.
