Uh oh… Is Bets going to fall off the wagon and go back to doing Social Media??

It sure looks like Gunther is going to be a no show.

I wonder if they will ever address how Bets makes money since she stopped streaming?

There’s that blasted camera. Has anything changed?

Come on Bets, that did not last long.

Has Bets offical abandoned social media? Or starting a new career as interior design person?

Yep. Right back to it. I knew it would happen. The question is whether Gunther would be okay with it, or will he say she can go back but he’s out? Can Gunther be honest and tell her he wanted out before but did it for her sake but now she turned back on her word that she was finished with SM, he wants no part of it? If he does tell her, will she still do SM without him? Or will she just change the theme from a heterosexual couple to college roommates? Betcha Stef will hog the camera time.

Suddenly I’m reminded of that gripping scene in the movie New Jack City when Pookie, (Chris Rock) fought a losing battle with the crack-pipe.

Well, maybe not THAT dramatic when it comes to Bets and social media, but hey “bad habits” don’t die over night. So, I’ll cut Bets some slight.

Some very little “slack.”

I’m more concerned on why Bets is not in class or study hall at this time of the day.

and there we have it. we all knew she can’t do “Comfy” and “Dull.” She craves social media attention, its almost an addiction sadly.

Did Gunther say that he was coming, or did Bets bother to give him a chance to decline or even listen to him if he did have the chance to say something? Social media is addictive, and I can see Bets going back to it. I wish she wouldn’t though.

Old habits’re hard to break away from. Bets’s got it pretty bad, just cant keep away from the lens an phone..

Perhaps she will send the pic to Gunther and not post it on social media. Tune in tomorrow.

Nine days into the New Year and I still haven’t seen Tiffany in a hot shower wearing nothing but a steamy fog.

The addiction to social media is strong in this one.

Addiction is a terrible thing.

There are very few characters I truly do not like. Bets is one.

Well, if Bets made avoiding social media a NY’s resolution, then it certainly didn’t last long. She didn’t post hers on the refrigerator like Luann did, so nobody else but those on social media can help her keep the promises. The irony. Dez could help.

Looks like the ideal place to kick back and relax.

Well, at least there’s a punchline today.

The Social Media siren song is calling to Bets. Honestly, I think it’s realistic this way. I know a lot of people who have quit only to fall back into the habit, or who do it multiple times. Breaks are actually kind of healthy and just taking a break is nice. I wasn’t a fan of the Halloween debacle with the uprising of her having a vocal hatedom about her relationship, but eh… we’ll see where this love-hate relationship with social media goes for Bets. Her having it as her thing was at least something a bit more of a solid character trait to include in the strip rather than just “she’s the resident nerd girl” (these days just about everyone has a nerdy interest with sci-fi and superheroes being as popular as they are, so to Zoomers it’s pretty common and culturally accepted)

A glimmer of hope that the Luann comic strip will try to return to it’s former glory, then Toxic Bets makes her appearance and kills hope to all who read.

What keyboard keys will no longer work until the candle wax can be removed?

It’s not easy to break a habit. Bets will have to limit herself to taking photos to send only to Gunther and friends. But Gunther will probably end up telling her that, after having decided some rules to follow, they can go back to using media. 20 minutes and Gunther didn’t show up… I’m afraid he took his role as TA so seriously to even sacrificed his free time. Maybe after dealing with Bets’s obsession with the media, it’s time to deal with Gunther’s obsession with studying and his tendency to be exploited because he can’t say no? Let’s hope Bets will talk to Tiffany and Dez about this.

She’s taking the picture but will she post it? She’ll have to fight to not do that. Can she? Maybe she’ll just send it to Gun. Gun being late tempts her to backslide.

I am saying that I think she is taking a picture, maybe just to share with friends. There is no evidence, (yet) that she is posting it anywhere, adn even if she did, it does not mean she is courting followers. I post pics on Facebook, I don’t have an account that courts followers, except band related.

Bet’s is addicted to social media. She needs to join SMA (social media anonymous) get a sponsor and break the habit before it totally breaks her relationship with Gunther.

So, yesterday’s sloppy sofa setup has a payoff today. Ingenious.

So, what will happen when Gunther find out she broke her promise. You know Steff will break the three minute mile to run and tell him. “Shoog, look what your girl posted”

Next time someone complains about Shannon.. Shut up please?Bets is this annoying generation of “Social Media” idiots who get upset if someone walks in front of their phone because they are video tapping but yet can’t understand what private property is.

As much as I don’t like Bets, I want to give her a little grace here. It is very hard to break a habit and even more so an addiction. This is a slip, but it doesn’t mean she isn’t sincere in her intent to leave social media. And we don’t know that she is going to post this picture anywhere. She may intend to send it to Gunther saying “got us all set!” We don’t know. So let’s not just assume yet.

I could be wrong and they could be writing her into failure. But maybe they aren’t.

Maybe Gun is late because he is taking an exam or a lab ran late. However for Bets having that regular time together has helped her to stay “clean” from SM.

It’s okay to make things look nice just for yourself.

As someone who’s struggled with addictions, I honestly can’t get too mad at Bets here. It is tough to break an ingrained habit.

This poses many questions. Fretted? Haven’t heard that term in a while.She left a message about this regular meeting, but he hasn’t answered yet. What happened to him?Apparently, she not only deleted her Gun n Bets vlog, but is totally off social media.She’s taking a photo of the set up, but will she post it? Will we find out where Gunther is before someone else enters and takes over the couch and snacks?= ;-o

These two need to have an amicable parting of ways. Neither will ever change, and it’s not healthy to live your life the way someone else wants you to.

So Bets and Gunther have fallen in love. What a sad way to destroy a perfectly good romance.

I don’t understand people who are addicted to social media or anything else. They either binge on it or have to go completely without it. Just use a little of it and don’t let it control your life.

gotta wean yourself off this stuff, start by posting it only on a private facebook, then take the pictures without posting, eventually you won’t need to take the pictures unless it’s a special occasion like a normal person

… Nor can the Leopard change his spots!

As an occasionally published and paid photographer, I can note that there’s nothing wrong with simply taking trouble to make a photograph better and more attractive. I do it all the time—move clutter out of a picture’s background or foreground, arrange for a more pleasing composition, move to a different angle, push a tree branch aside, etc. That can be the difference between a snapshot and a pleasing photograph, or more importantly between a snapshot and a photo someone will pay for. It’s also the big difference between “selfie shooters” and “photographers.”

The issue here is, is she doing this just for her personal satisfaction (fine), to make a more inviting picture to lure Gunther (also fine), or to post online (then it’s “did she quit or not?”)? And it shouldn’t take 20 minutes to set up that picture, so either she’s being OCD about it or spending 20 minutes taking photos…….. which should raise other questions…..

Habits are hard to break.

There is a lot of money to be made in social media. Bets is business major and knows this quite well.
