I have someone who brings me firewood and cleans my chimney. I have a polebarn with 3 stalls and rotate them so my wood is cured 2 1/2 years. I’ve lived here 47 1/2 years, I know what I’m doing.
I live in snow country and park by the top of my 15% grade long driveway. So I use my wheelbarrow to get them from the car to the house! (I quit counting hand injuries at 17 including a botched surgery, all since Covid, and have 10% strength, so you learn ways to do things. I’m 72 and have lived alone since my husband died nearly 20 years ago).
My dad always got a fresh tree. I lost my husband 20 Christmases ago and no longer have the strength to put up even an artifical one, I miss it, but quit counting after 17 hand injuries including a botched surgery.
