Broom-Sweepa: This is the library at the Very Good Pyramid, Whisk. Ms Bea is the librarian.
Whisk: How do you do, Ms Bea?
Beatrixia: Very well, thank you Whisk. Have you been to the library before?
Whisk: Yes. I helped my mommy sweep at Afar. She said I did a real good job.
Broom-Sweep: Remember the Broom Motto: Only sweep where it’s safe.
Bea: Here’s a scroll that you may enjoy: Harold and the Purple Drawing Brush. It’s a favorite of our royal scribe, Elvis-Anum ever since he was a kitten.
Ora Z: Ooh, do you think we can draw like Harold?
Bea: Better ask Elvis first. Now here’s our Artisans, Mandy and Lynn.
Mandy: Pleased to meet all of you. Would like to tour our new workshop. The Pretty Good Pyramid is not far.
Where were these cats raise and by whom? Vacuum cleaners are ground born masters, where as cats love heights. Any right thinking cat would seek the tactical advantage and seize the high ground. A vantage point that gives a wide view of the area and any approaching monsters while offering a better vantage point for them to beat a hasty retreat.
I’m reminded of all those classic horror stories where the people who were finished off by the monster somehow had time to write down their last excruciating moments in notes inevitably found by the protagonist. “The creature has found me! It is eating my legs- oh, the agony!”
When I was a teenager, we had a black and white long haired Mainecoone (didn’t look like the Mainecoones of today). He didn’t have problems with the vacuum. Until, this is just a guess, but when she vacuumed under the bed, his tail……..may have been accidentally sucked up.
The “Great Eraser of Identity” is fast closing in on Elvis! Oh my Cat! In his words, “Good luck when company sees an unmarked couch and assumes it’s theirs!” https://www.breakingcatnews.com/comic/the-vacuum-cleaner-is-back/
My big fluffy cat, Belle, has been acting off the last few days. She was showing sings of constipation, and per vet advice, we were giving her low doses of Miralax."This evening when she tried to get up to go to the box, she could not use her legs, front or back. She just flopped on the floor. There are no vets withing 60 miles that handle emergencies. Everyone is closed. She is weak, and having trouble even lifting her head. She purrs to head scratches, but it is obvious that she is weakening, and slipping away. I have lined a box with soft towels and have placed her in front of my chair so I can pour all my love to her. I know that by morning, she will be gone. She has been my bestest little (at one point, 23 pounds) girl for nearly 9 years. My heart is shattered in pieces on the floor and I cannot stop crying.Goddess help me, how to ease this pain..

No, somebody save Elvis! I wonder if his anger shield is powered by his hiss engine. They would seem to go together.

Elvis’ lead Vocals and Guilty Lament
“Goodbye to you, my trusted friends
But we’ve known each other since we were nine or ten
Together, we’ve climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC’s
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees
Goodbye, my friend, it’s hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that spring is in the air
Pretty girls are everywhere
Think of me and I’ll be there"
Puck and Lupin on Chorus,
“We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time”
Elvis on lead vocals…
“Goodbye, papa, please pray for me
I was the black sheep of the family
You tried to teach me right from wrong
Too much wine and too much song
Wonder how I got along”
