Where is Tiff going to store 4 huge pool tables that each weigh a ton?

So are we to assume Bets had a change of heart, and now wants to help Tiff win the bet?

We haven’t been privy to the answer to Gunther’s question from yesterday.

Speaking of Stefi. How’s her dance camp going? Will she come back a changed woman?

Yesterday Bets was frozen in thought. Today she’s doing something completely different. It might have been nice if Greg had explained what was going on.

It looks like Bets has indeed decided to take Gunther’s suggestion and join forces with Tiffany. So my questions from yesterday remain open: (1) what will they do about Stefani, and (2) who/what will throw a monkey wrench into the business plan? Re (2), to the previous list of possibilities (legal issues; neighbors; Tiff’s dad; burglars; partiers), we can now add a mishap involving pool tables and gravity.

Next scene: Tiff finds out she needs licenses, permits and insurance to run a storage business.

Hurrah, Bets listened to G-Man and is cooperating rather than competing. No more…talk to the hand.

When Dad comes home, Tiff might have to call that number to say, “Can you come get your pool tables by 5:00 PM tonight?”

Two birds. One stone. Good job, Bets.

(At this rate, a real warehouse would be advisable, though. Even mansions have limits.

Bets has tried to help Tiffany on several occasions. She has been a friend. And Tiffany tinkled her chimes to help Bets and Gunther reunite.

Doesn’t Tiffany realize she’s responsible for all this stuff? When is someone going to claim she is storing some expensive item of theirs that she isn’t?

Must be tough to be a Bets hater. Gun(ther) appealed to her better spirits, friendship, not competition, and she combines her schtick with Tiff’s placard, helpfully held up by Ox, really pepping up Tiff’s business. There is still the misdirection play waiting but this is evidence of what I say is the beneficial spirit of Luannverse, new characters get improved, for want of a better word. Oh and by the way Bets is drawn to be the hotter babe in Luann, in love with the nerd, and even listens to and admires him!! So hard for anti-Bets haters.

Bets DID listen to Gunther, and weighed his words carefully.

Good show Gunther. Now stay hidden. Because any minute the authorities are going to show up, and shut Tiff’s little “operation” down.

Good thinking on Bets’ part! She can appease Gunther and help Tiffany, all of her fans will love it, and she’ll continue to make money.

Nice to see Bets decide to help Tiffany. Now I wonder, this is happening because Gunther was able to make her understand that they need to collaborate and help each other or that was Bets’ idea from the start? Gunther’s opinions are certainly important to Bets! Very nice to see Tiffany happy. Also, it’s interesting to know that she genuinely thinks Ox’s booty is sweet.

I’m out. This isn’t even funny anymore.

Next week: Tiff’s father returns, and can’t get into the house for all the junk “stored” there.

Is Gunther still 19 years ago?

Soon there will be junk sitting in the front yard..

Brilliant start up, but, it’s too good. How does she organize her warehouse? Are all boxes and furniture easily accessible? Is there a list of items/boxes per each client? Pure boy lost 2lb of 24 carat gold in her storage. Class-action lawsuit against Tiff for missing items.

There does seem to be a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on! :D

This is way past ridiculous. Look at that mixed-up pile of stuff Tiffany’s standing in. Isn’t she keeping the belongings separate?? Where is she going to put FOUR pool tables? Who’s going to move those tables?? And what’s going to happen when Tom (and Tom’s insurance company) finds out about this??

Every storage place I’ve known, you rent the space and you get the key. Is she giving all these people a key to the manse? If not, how will they access their stuff if the want to get it again? Is she on call 24/7?

Oh Tiff, I hope you have all this junk properly catalogued and labeled. It looks like a confusing mess.

Bets saw this as an opportunity to help a friend, and also gain new followers in the process. More important than winning a silly bet…

Somehow, this is not going to end well for Tiff. It will only reinforce her belief that bottom line, she is a failure.

When he was much younger, my uncle hinted that he wanted a small pool table for his birthday. He gave hints to too many people and wound up with three or four pool tables.

I stand corrected. Apparently, Bets does want to make it a horse race.

I still question Tiffs’s business model. Why would people want their stuff stored in “luxe”? I’d think they’d prefer security. Plus, four pool tables would almost take a whole garage.

Bets needs to be careful – waving a sword around in public can get you shot by the police! And here’s a thought – maybe it’s just as important for Bets to get away from Dez as it is for Tiffany to get rid of Stephanie.

This is way more than storing some things over the summer for a few college kids..way more.

What is her dad going to say when he finds all this? Or when they get burglarized from sharing the address? Sigh.

The disorganized state of what’s already there means a disaster when people come to claim their stuff.

Fantasy Island? Any fans know from past strips that Tiffany;s Dad is obscenely wealthy and the Mansion has vast rooms where visitors get lost often

I know it’s a comic strip and that it’s supposed to be funny and silly, but this story has me wondering about Greg’s opinion of higher education. If Tiffany is using the business skills she learned in college, then their university is a total fail! I mean, how stupid can one girl get? I just hope the ending is as nonsensical as the story has been LOL!

Is Tiff’s dad supposed to be a clergyman?

First, as I’ve said above, all Bets needs to do is show the “sword” to the police, and they’ll see immediately that it isn’t real.

And second, as I also said above, I’m not seeing a “George Floyd”-type scenario happening. And I don’t think Greg would dare to put something that explosive in his strip. He wouldn’t want kids seeing such a scene in the strip.

I sense there is a failure to communicate clearly and that there will be more buying than selling going on!

More like Ox could put them behind the secret door to the bowling alley in the attic. Hard to see Tiff getting them up there.

As many people ask. How will your Dad feel about his mansion filled with other people’s stuff? And is there a possible zoning issue? This is a residential area. Honestly though, I hope those question don’t arise. I don’t want Tiffany to be dealt a setback. It would be nice if she just got a win.

While I am glad Bets has had an apparent transformation of her attitude to being “helpful” instead of “competitive”….. I am still worried and concerned that Tiffany is not thinking this through well at all….

1. Why would she want to store more people’s junk in her “Manse”? It just seems like it would be an annoying mess to deal with, even if it gives her a bit of extra cash. I would think all the dorm kids stuff would have been more than sufficient.

2. I still have a lingering worry that there will be a dangerous and very problematic break-in at the “Manse” due to the social media presence.

3. It just FEELS to me that even if there isn’t a robbery….. something about all this is going to go incredibly wrong somehow.

I honestly don’t think legal issues will be a part of the story.

Agreed. In fact I don’t think there will be much to winding down this story at all. No one will win the bet, in fact the bet will go down the amnesia hole as so many Luann details do. Tiffany might mention her dad making her abandon the warehouse business and Gunther might tell Bets she’s great, but it will all be very anticlimactic.

Where’s the competition?

Things are so frustrating, it’s time for a Rip Van Winkle/Bobby Ewing moment. A confused Tiffany goes to Dez who brews up an enchanted rain forest cocktail for Tiff who promptly falls asleep. When she wakes up an undetermined period of time later, everyone has changed, and Tiff can’t believe what she sees. Luann is carrying her new baby, Bernice has been married and divorced 3 times, Kip got a football contract , “discovered” Bets, and they moved off to Denver, Broken hearted Gunther was seduced by the rejected Stef and they rushed off to Las Vegas to get married.

And the number to call is 555-TIFF! Not BR-549.

Tiff is more Machiavellian that I imagined. Without doing anything, she’s now got Tiff shilling for her for free, apparently, and profiting mightily therefrom.
