I started to think that it COULDN’T POSSIBLY GET WORSE all the way back in ‘72, with King Richard the Nix’s re-election campaign… and again in ‘76, and ’80’ and ’84, and again in ’88, Etc. Etc. Etc. and I was proven wrong EACH DAMN TIME!!!
Interesting that so many comments are about walls. Tribalism is currently being manifested in group identity. By Race, Gender, sexual orientation, National origin, culture, etc.
I believe I’ve detected a subtle pattern in Wiley’s cartoons. Homes and offices are usually viewed from the upper right corner of the room, bars and restaurants from the upper left.
Reminds me of the rental homes near campus in college towns where they keep every empty beer can they’ve ever used on their front porch for everyone to see.
Looking through empty beer and cocktail glasses makes really interesting images to see, especially after consuming vast quantities of alcohol to build such walls on either side of you.

Those who live behind glass walls should not throw stones. On the other hand, good fences make good neighbors.

Putting up walls to keep out people who aren’t threatening you and leaving your back exposed. Shouldn’t he have a wall only on one side?
