I also can’t help but wonder if her father might recognize that truly scary last panel smile as a mirror of his own. Like Ann, he might only come to appreciate what he has in common with his offspring after losing her.

I fully understand (And have experienced) that the “Corporate World,” is “Dog eat Dog.” But Tiffany had better get some business partners around her that she can TRUST!

    “Mongrel??” SERIOUSLY???

Although I suspect that Tiffany would be a rather difficult boss to work for. I remember the time she had Gunther and Knute “working” for her as her “press agents” or something, years ago in high school.

Back then, Tiff almost made Ann Eiffel look “reasonable……..,” :)

I like the poster. Tiff does have vision. However I am doubtful about Tiff’s ability to obtain a business degree (unless she gets somebody to do her accounting homework). Maybe Tiff could pair up with a female small business owner – Tiff does the promotion and the other partner does the number crunching.

That’s a lot of C descriptives. You could be a feminine corporate, you know? No need to go for a suit and a tie. Women corporates can wear feminine silk blouses with feminine cut blazers and some jewelry. You are looking pretty severe in that fantasy head shot.

If I knew what I was talking about I would suggest Tiffany is exhibiting some serious manic-depressive behavior. (’Scuse me! Bipolar seems to be the current preferred descriptor!) As I recall, Greg has Tiff in one of these euphoric episodes before. At that time she was going to be a plus-size and hands model, etc. She also made a play for Jack at Kidz Space. That was also when she had these “head shots” made up.

If this turns out to be another one of these episodes I’ll begin to suspect Greg of being somewhat sadistic, at least toward Tiff. (Oh, no! More psychobabble!)

What seems to be different is the support being exhibited by Dez and Bernice. They may be providing encouragement and practical advice, respectively.

If Greg is still just toying with Tiff, I will be heaping invectives upon noggin anon! :o)

I love the businesses that open on a Monday. By Thursday they are closed, didn’t even make it till Friday! One was a produce store. Another lasted longer, it was a take out food place. The owner spent 3 weeks decorating the shop. They finally opened and I went in to see the foods offered which were packaged in coolers. They were moldy. The place closed very soon after.

Tiffany thinks a HEAD SHOT is the first thing she needs?! Oh brother. This is going nowhere fast. I thought she was finally onto something but same ole Tiff! Spend spend spend! She will soon be back to square one. I wish Dez had said enroll in cosmetology school. That’s her best bet to actually do something in life that she loves. I’m not sure Tiffany really even knows what being a business major involves. On the other hand, she DOES know nails and beauty products. I’m kind of disappointed by today’s overblown airheaded response.

I tend to think that finding a temporary money making endeavor that Tiffany enjoys (like a legal way to paint fan logos on nails, or even working at the cosmetics counter at a local store) is one issue, and a future career and educational path is another. They may or may not be related but but they do serve two different purposes at the moment.

I also wonder whether we have any idea how well Tiffany has been doing in school. While I’ve never found her the brightest bulb in the theatre marquee I haven’t gotten the impression she’s been flunking out or only getting passing grades because of her father’s donations to the school. I wonder what classes she did the best in, or whether there are any that she enjoys more than others?

I know this is Luannverse, but the need for a Business Plan of some kind is screaming here. TIffany will have no problem with branding, she is a natural. I mean Kylie Jenner has nothing on her. But Kylie has had all kinds of very sophisticated help, along with being naturally smart, and Tiffany is naturally, not academically, smart, and she is a natural brand. If she is successful she will be just as insufferable as always, but we all love her anyway, so it will be good. Let her be successful Gnk.

    Thoughts:

    1. The Mongrel/Mogul corruption was mildly funny to me because this was Tiffany…. until it also brought forth the memories of the overly extensive use of similar malapropisms in Shannon’s character.

    2. With Tiffany scheming for “corporate” shots and images at the moment…. I am envisioning Greg taking us on an adventure akin to Reese Witherspoon’s character in “Legally Blonde”…. but in college and in the corporate (“cosmotologically coproprate”) world.

    3. Visually, I thought Greg having Tiffany envision her cover being on a "Mega"zine was a great “sight” gag of sorts. Made me laugh the loudest about today’s comic.

    4. “TiffasNails”….. might be better shown as “Tiff-as-Nails” to help drive home the point.

    5. When I first read Dez’ “I feel the karma.” statement, it seemed a little “off” from the colloquial use of the word I was used to. So, I looked up a more formal definition. Google Dictionary gave the full definition of karma as “the sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences”. With this more robust definition, I can now better see how Dez statement does fit well (given Dez’ personality).
