My grandmother, who made some of the best bread in the world, once made a loaf that didn’t rise for some reason. She was very upset. I loved it! It was better than eating cookies.
I eat Low Sodium Ezekiel Bread. It’s great bread for those trying to reduce their sodium intake. I use it in place of regular bread and has 15g of Total Carbs and 3 g of Dietary Fiber. Excellent for PB & J’s and I use it for my tuna melts.

You’ve got the loaves. Now all you need are the fishes.

Perhaps a little sacrilegious, yet it has many Easter things right.
In communion, bread does represent the body of Christ.

Funnier because Easter comes during Passover, when foods that rise are forbidden.

Did anyone else notice the name of the bakery? There must be a fish market next door

Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Maybe more for the strained humor than the religious thing.

Unless you put pumpkin spice in the bread, it’s just like the joke – wrong season.

How about a little orange for flavor. After all, yeast is yeast and zest is zest.

I once knew a guy who invented a knife so big that it could slice 4 loaves of bread in one cut. It was a four loaf cleaver.

This should have been used for the Easter holiday! We got Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up!

You have to eat the loaf fast, before it ascends to Heaven.
