It didn’t start with an Apple? Is he Siri-ous?

I guess this is a prediction of what would happen if AI ever became self-aware. Ask a simple question, get presented with a solution but not the one you would expect or like.

I wonder if it won’t actually be Putin rebooting us… if we’re lucky enough to be around after the reboot.

Where are the upgrades?

I say “Hey Alexa, hit yourself with a big hammer then throw yourself in the trash, please.” I wouldn’t have that kind of thing in my cave for all the tea in China…

There are quite a few people I would like to reboot.

Genesis 2.0? Funny, I don’t remember Genesis mentioning anyone living in caves.

I do suspect we are in for a massive human die-off in the not-too-distant future. And that might just save life on the planet.

Wouldn’t have to go that far. Step 1: Send all of the world’s billionaires and about 80% of the politicians into space. Step 2: End all religion.

The computer is now in control. All decisions will now be made by the computer. There is no reason to fear. Nothing can go wrong… wrong… wrong… wrong…

That’s what happens when you hook up Alexa to the Matrix.

The real Genesis 2.0? “Noah’s” Flood.

All rebooting requires is a loose nut with an atomic trigger finger.

Wiley kids .. love ‘em! I guess this has to be the logical conclusion to the sneaking suspicion that we’re all living in someone’s mind-bending computer game (aka The Matrix).

Was that a Hard Reboot or a Soft Reboot?

Alexa would probably not reboot the world like this. No electricity.

Be careful what you wish for, the genie in the bottle is a trickster.

But, at least they are getting some family time and a cookout.

Yup. Eventually we will probably program and code ourselves right back to binary.

Finally, Alexa has an actual purpose . . . more “Wump World” than technological utopia.

Not a terrible idea on the base level, but someone with an itchy trigger finger on the “button” will probably be the one to actually perform the reboot. Only problem is the ones in power and the wealthy most likely will be the only ones to survive.

Repubs are always waxing about the good ole days. They’d better watch out that those days could be neanderthal.

That is basically the background plot of Fred Saberhagen’s Book of Swords novellas.

Boy wouldn’t some people sure be surprised if that did happen!!!

At this stage in the game of Life As We Know It, I think I’ll take a Reboot…

A reboot that “make(s) the world a better place” wouldn’t include nonsense like “Genesis” or religion.

Seems that even in the reboot we are arming ourselves and eating our small friends.

Now you know what the tech giants mean by the “great reset.”

I don’t want civilization to be rebooted to any time before THE ED SULLIVAN SHOW.

Ah, back to the simpler life and it just might do us some good not to have the rest of humanity breathing down our throats. Just wandering out to get a few steaks from passing animals. I’ll take the top sirloin steak; potato growing the the ground, but we’ll have to fight the deer for some salad.

Fifty years ago Charlton Heston would have made that movie.

I rather think the reboot would be best if realized without homo sapiens.

I know Phil Collins has something to do with this.

Considering the state of the world today, this is a thing to be hoped for.
