When my kids feel like torturing their dear, loving father they will sing “Ooh, see that girl, Watch that scene, Digging the dancing queen”.

You’re trying to subtly change your argument. AND it’s not what I believe. It’s what I know. You’ve made an insinuation based on a doctor’s busy waiting room ergo all doctors are receiving " “encouragement”(s)".

So please illuminate us. Where do you go for your informed, authoritative journalism? News isn’t just Who, What, Where, and When. Journalism gives us the Why. Yes, three different media sources will each have their own frame of reference and that’s when it is incumbent on the reader/viewer to find balance by informing their opinions with a cross-section of reports.

Can you back up that claim of “encouragement”? I am married to a physician and I manage the practice of another so I know what the eff I’m talking about. When somebody accuses us of being essentially corrupt I get really effing angry. There are NO kickbacks, NO “gifts”, NO special comps, NO free meals, nothing. NO, docs aren’t paid to write scripts for drugs.

Okay. What is it? What is the URL? You’ve made the claim so I’m challenging you. In our jurisdiction pharmaceutical reps can’t even give a doctor a pen or pad of paper with their company/drug name on it. It isn’t like the old days when it was almost the wild west. They’re not even supposed to bring a doc a coffee.

Interesting comments from some old Simon & Garfunkel fans. They remind me of Pete Townshend’s words, “I hope I die before I get old”.

America is done. These are the beginning of the last days of a hopeful and glorious experiment in democracy. All powerful empires eventually follow each other into obscurity. Sad that Americans squandered what they had and the end came so soon but it was done democratically; they chose this and what is to come. What is to follow will be much, much uglier than it currently is with either a civil war which will spill over its borders or an authoritarian government that will rival Nazi Germany. January 6, 2020 will look like a Sunday school picnic.

I rather think the reboot would be best if realized without homo sapiens.

You had to be the one, didn’t you? Have a miserable day, you (insert grawlix here).
