The pandemic didn’t change my routine or attire. I retired in 2004 and the dogs must be walked. I don’t even own sweatpants or a ball cap.

Today is my first day back at the office. I actually had to put on pants…and shoes…and a shirt with a collar. I told my wife, “This is a lot of clothes!” But I"m pretty sure tank tops are not appropriate for work….sigh…

From what I’ve been hearing, this is a common problem for offices and parties. People have either forgotten how to dress, or they’ve gained so many pandemic pounds that nothing nice they own fits.

My stay at home clothes have never been acceptable for going out…..anywhere. One must maintain some standards, we ain’t animals.
