Well looks like there’s a crowd. Goes to show not all students are partiers. When I was RA I never undertook this kind of dormitory activity. The closest thing to a gathering like this was taking a submission of request for facility usage which I put in the dormCoordinator mail box. That was it. And check in while the activity was in progress. Bernice sure is partaking in a lot more than just a RA.

Where’s Bet’s phone? I can’t see her giving up any chance to post, so would that mean Gunther’s the one doing the posting, from his laptop?

Reading comments before I write my original one: Bets is a good student in case anyone forgets. She volunteered to help Tiffany with her Microeconomics class remember? Btw, I wonder if Tiffany is going to show up at the study ball? Either way it would be interesting; at the blacklit/out party the interplay between Stefi, Kip, and Tiffany while in the study ball the interplay between (Gun)ther, hot Bets, cold Bernice, and confused but interested Tiffany. One further observation about Bets, I don’t think she ever has been that crazy about the women around Gunther he grew up with, with the exception of Tiffany. They get along fine, They are simpatico, but Luann has a strange attitude toward Bets and Gunnie, while clearly Bets and Bernice are not simpatico at all.

Tell those two to show some class. This is a study session.

So I’ll just say that Bernice is the most unlikable character of this strip. She has strict rules she wants to live by, but she wants everyone to live by them too. Doesn’t work that way.

She will end up graduating and learning that she never allowed herself to relax and enjoy the moment. Why is she like this?

Also what is Bets doing there anyway?

Doesn’t seem to bad with Gunther and Bets behavior so far. Bernice is overreacting as per usual. But I remember in college the couples that engaged in making out and heavy petting in the common areas being annoying. Every dorm had them. They are like a fixture in college. I found them especially annoying because I couldn’t even hold my boyfriends hand in public at the time without causing people to freak out or getting stares or mean comments. Yet, they could get to second base in public and people just laughed about it. Of course, that was a different time…but still not that long ago.

I really hope that Gunth can enjoy time with Bets. It seems like he never gets a chance with happiness, like Greg has him pegged for disappointment with every girl he encounters. But I also know that in real life we encounter all sorts of beings before we meet the One.

As for Bern, she is just being full of her authority and passive jealousy against Gunth and Bets being happy. She had her chance to have a relationship with him, pushed him aside. Now he’s got someone, she just needs to deal with it.

Today’s questions: Will Tiff show? Will Bern go looking for Tiff? Did Bets remember to turn on the flash on her smart phone? What’s going on at the Blacklight Party (if we may delve into the prurient for a moment)? If Bern stay in Study Ball, what’s her next move?

Finally. Will “Super Tuesday” finally bring an end to these interminable political TV ads and robocalls!?!?!? Grrrr….

The last time they snuggled, it was the bean bag and no cats in the room. Gunther is evolving but Bernice stays unhappy and controlling.

Sourpuss Bernie, the increasingly-evil Iron R.A., has made it her job to rain on everyone’s parade and then get in their face. She is like a cliché, and isn’t happy unless others are sad….
