I know life expectancy for rats is considerably less than twenty years; not sure about pigs unless they are sent to the butchers; then also probably less than twenty years.

Not sure about tobacco flavoring. I wonder if Pig would smoke a stick of hickory instead.

Climate Scientists Say Major Cities May Be Underwater By 2100

They never say how they expect to take salt water and make it into inland fresh water reserves to lower sea levels, or how that ever happened to get to where we are today. Sea water turning into inland fresh water glaciers must be accomplished by gods or UFOs or magic.

“Cigarettes could shorten your life” is not really the point. Smoking cigarettes will make you get old faster. That’s true of every regular smoker. If you smoke for 20 years you will be physically in an “older condition” than you would have been if you hadn’t smoked. Of course old people are at more risk of dying in any given week or year.

One headline or an observation does not invalidate climate change. It is all about average temperature change over the earth, and even then natural cycles can mask the overall effect of green house gasses. There is no way that 7.5 billion people living in the industrial age spewing giga-tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year cannot affect the climate, with what scientists know about how our atmosphere protects us from excessive radiation of energy from the sun. Google “NASA Global Climate Change” study and look at the graph of CO2 vs time for the last 400,000 years . I am a conservative and am certainly not jumping on AOC’s “Green” bandwagon, but being an engineer and somewhat analytical I can’t help but be concerned where this is all leading if we continue on the path we are on. Those of you denying global climate change have your heads in the sand or are simply toeing the party line

Hey, they don’t write big funding checks, if you admit the data doesn’t support the agenda. They always need more research. Oh and for the record, the best data, ice core samples, shows that the warmer periods correlate to the periods of human advancement and growth. See Renaissance.

No “global warming” or “climate change” computer model or prediction has proven out so far (the main reason why the alarmist changed their theme from the first name to the second, since the temps just weren’t following the script) – and yet they are still being listened to as if they had an actual proven track record of accuracy.

The discussion of global warming or climate change masks the bigger issue of using fossil fuels. It pollutes our air and water. Doesn’t it just make sense to have clean air to breath and clean water to drink?

You guys, this is, like, totally not a laughing matter. I’m with AOC, this is, like, our WWII, you know what I mean? Omg if we don’t take action, we’re all going to, like, DIE. So we need to destroy our economic infrastructure completely, get rid of cars, farting cows, and air travel, and, like, save the world before it’s too late, oh-em-gee. And this is NOT a deficit, it’s, like, an investment, for the children. And we’re gonna give everyone a job, or if they don’t want a job, that’s fine, like, whatever, this is 2019 people, they should still get economic support even if they’re unwilling to work. What even are we talking about, I just can’t even with this. The Green New Deal is, like, perfect you guys. We’re gonna save the world, this is like our time. I honestly don’t understand why we’re still talking about this, like, come on. This needed to be happening, like, 10 years ago.

If you wanna laugh yourself a six-pack, watch this presentation given by Mike Lee in the senate concerning the Green New Deal.

Favorite thing about this? The left just CANNOT take a joke. They pretend they don’t understand the meaning of humor when it comes to this speech, or literally any other time they’re memed by the right. It’s pathetic.

Ladies and gentlemen, it’s a simple concept… if you’re a climate scientist, and you need funding, what’s the best way to get it? Report facts? “The world is spinning on and on and prolly won’t encounter too much trouble even if average temperatures do rise by a degree or two over the course of the next few hundred years” doesn’t make for big headlines, interviews, and crisis based, fear-mongering funding, now does it? So instead, they invent a crisis for themselves to study, get on the air about, and make wild apocalyptic predictions over, and then they keep moving the goalpost so that they never end up being shown up for the frauds they really are.

Get real people: you believe that life has struggled upwards and onwards from the place of being a single cell in a wickedly hostile and noxious environment all the way to the diverse and hardy life that we see on the planet today, right? And now, when that same life is faced with a 1˚F change over the course of the next hundred years, it’s all going to go to crap unless we do something. Really? I mean I don’t even believe in evolution the same way most people do, but I still have more faith in the adaptation of life forms than y’all. Get a grip, snap out of it.

Humans are adaptable and will probably not become extinct. Our society will probably not survive as it is and maybe a Billion poor people will have to die for “adjustments” to happen. Some “humans” don’t see that as a problem.
