There is no point in talking to “Free or Not”. He alternates spinning reality and just making things up. When he gets tired, he just uses Republican talking points. When you prove him wrong or ask him a specific question (where the answer doesn’t fit his agenda) he just tap-dances away.

It was shoplifting at K-mart, in two incidents a few days apart before he was caught. He had previously been convicted of burglary of a private residence. Yes that’s a bad because people feel violated when their house is robbed, but he never committed a violent crime nor “strong armed robbery”. Drug addiction didn’t come up in what I read, but if he was, that might be more reason to say that he should have been provided the chance for treatment instead of becoming a burden on taxpayers for the rest of his life. What he stole at K-mart was less than $100 worth of video tapes.
I’m a little “out of touch” since I’ve been living in Germany. The way laws work are a little bit different.
