Wow! All the cats (and Trevor, and all four mice) in a single strip! A true triumph!
Is Sophie displaying the corpses of vanquished enemies as a warning to others? That’s dark.
With that cat-atude, how can you lose?
Love Sophie’s style. X3 And Goldie makes an appearance! =3
There’s Sir Fig, and Trevor! I knew Sophie would create art from the leaves! Look at Natasha kicking those leaves out of the way. And Burt toe beans! YAY Team Breaking Cat News!
Words to live by, wise Puck!
Well, according to Weather Channel app, if I can get through three more days of record highs, fall weather will finally start to move in on Friday, and by next Wednesday nightly lows will hit the 40s. Relief at last!
I love the way little sweetie Beatrix is bouncing a leaf off Trevor’s head. And the Robber Mice. And………
Lots to love in this strip, for sure!
This one just really made me go: AWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!! out loud. I love these precious moments with the Boys.
But the inexorable workings of fate bring the boys ever closer to the dire confrontation with the Orange Monster Cat.
It’s moments like this I will cherish forever.
Yes, Puck. Yes it does!
The First Fall is over. Sir Figaro stayed out of it and some lucky leaves got Goldied.
How come only Burt gets to feature in two panels? Hmm….
Now they can start planning how to counter the coming snowfall.
I enjoy sitting like Burt, with a cup of coffee (not cat coffee though), and soaking in the joys of nature.
And so, the world is saved ….
Baba Mouse fang of satisfaction. Don’t mess with Baba.
WTG, guys. thumbs up
Boys…What ever you do, don’t look down!
OT – Time to flip our BCN calendars to October where there are signs that the People are starting to hang images of Puck throughout the BPH and Lupin (re)learns that the gourd sacrifice tastes terrible!
Burt and that strange orange cat look almost like litter mates.
G.A.L.E. (Guardians Against Leaves of Evil) – Saving the World Together!
Today’s strip would make a great inspirational poster, Georgia!
Love that Goldie helped!
I wish that I could print this strip off, but even if I could, my printer is out of ink (deep sigh). I’ll have to wait until I have a day out with my daughter to buy more.
This makes me wonder if we are the same. Are we feeling good by doing something totally useless together, under the guise of saving the world?
And with the great battle won, our weary warriors come together for a good, hot cup of tea, catnip cookies and doggie biscuits!
Not unlike the scene among the walking wounded of our running group last night as we all got our Monday “outside” time. The runner in the wheelchair got around as the runner with the sprained ankle pushed from one side and the runner who was five hours post-second facet injection pushed from the other, and we all had a great time.
Incidentally, for those of you who might be keeping score at home on this, I called the knee-pain study coordinator last night and formally withdrew from the study.
Puck has the right attitude. Now if only man would listen to this wise kitty.
Yes, “saving the world together.” If only.
It’s been noted that Goldie has a notched ear. No wonder she’s she shy! She grew up feral, but someone kindly TNR’ed her.
LOVE LOVE LOVE today’s strip! Awesome work Georgia!
I love the robber mice!
Georgia posted a picture of Elvis becoming one with the Halloween decorations:
Teamwork makes the dream work! BTW, I think this is the first time we’ve seen all the cats & mice in one strip. Love it!
Today this beautiful strip made me smile and also tear up a little. Hope it’s not too late. Remaining optimistic!
And, OT: an October-jest!

Looks like our feline friends are better at saving the world than we humans. But then of course they are, how could i doubt that OMC
Glad to see Lupin and Puck have gotten over their little misunderstanding and everyone’s in harmony.
Puck’s comment at the end is not only a good little mini-poem, but a good sentiment in general!
Happy Pucktober! May your puck o’ lanterns burn bright
If that’s Tabitha in the first panel, who’s the orange cat in the the last panel?
I never knew Natasha was trained in the martial arts! What’s her style? Flying Crane? Rising Dragon? Thieving Mouse?
Leave squad when there is leaves to take care of just give them a call and the leave squad will be there in no time at all.
Too bad man isn’t as smart as cats.
…And Goldie under the window sill…..
The leaves are leaving…
Feline cooperation. Hmm…
Where’s Violet? I see Baba Mouse and Burt with Alice, Natasha, and Agnes, but I don’t see Violet. Is she the first to go missing?
In regards to the notched ear affair. Feral cats, when trapped and neutered, have the entire top part of the ear taken off, mebbe 1/2" to 3/4" or so. The top of that ear is flat, there is no mistaking it for a cat fight injury.
I just love this strip, it makes me happy. I usually read it in the early am just to brighten my day. Can’t wait for the new books. I have the first 2 and 2 calendar’s. There will only be bcn in this house. Hopefully Gerorgia will continue this strip for many years to come. Great job
Very hot here, too, in NW FL where Hurricane Michael made a Cat 5 landfall 10/10/19. We are still in recovery mode and hope for no tropical activity!
The leaves don’t stand a chance!
