More likely the job will be outsourced to a private concern which makes copious donations to various reelection PACs with the actual work done in Guatemala or some such place.

That guy may not have a job for long thanks to DeSantis making Floridians pick up Disney’s tab because Disney spoke up against that vague and unconstitutional bill that was rushed through the state legislature and DeSantis signed into law. Pretty bad when someone makes Mouse, Inc. look like the good guys.

Re: Dead folks voting: on the chance they died after casting absentee ballots, it’s not fraud. Once the roll is compared to the death certificates that must be filed with the state, the votes are invalidated.

If fraud happened it’s a felony you need to report. But let’s ask, “how do YOU know?” Even if there were fraud, it’s on their data, not yours. No one would tell you. Relations only count in probate. So it comes back to “how do you know?” unless…..

It makes me giggle every time I hear someone try to their claim they know dead people who voted. What the wingers don’t think about making these accusations is that everyone else is asking, “how do you know they did?”

It’s not like you can just look it up on the web. First, you have to have valid evidence to suspect something is wrong to request the voter roles from the place they “voted.” Then live in a state that releases the information to the public, and includes voter history (not all do) as well as DOB (not all do) AND SSN numbers (none do) to be sure it isn’t just folks with the same name. All that info is not available to Joe Schmo. You have to be a qualified law enforcement/election official to get all the info.

Finally, to go to all that trouble, you first have to think to yourself, “Gee, I think my dead grandpa voted in the last election.” Who does that?

So, like belling the cat, the eye of suspicion is immediately cast on anyone claiming they “know” voter fraud was committed. As folks have mentioned, the serious intentional fraud has so far been committed by the folks with the biggest stake.

There is a likely reason they are so certain fraud happened and so upset it hasn’t been “found,” and it’s the old playground taunt: you smelt it, you dealt it. They knew he was likely to lose, so did they plant fraud to open a judicial path to a win? They just didn’t count on getting trounced so soundly that any “challenged” votes wouldn’t make a whit of difference to the outcome.

Every actual case of voter fraud uncovered since DeSantis got his personal brown shirt brigade has been committed by Republicans. Tr*mp’s own chief of staff registered to vote in THREE different states. Voter suppression and intimidation disguised as law enforcement is a dictator’s dream.

“Minister: June 5th, 1958. Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband for better or worse, in sickness & health, to love & obey, to be his help-mate, build him up when he’s down, bear his children, send his pants to the cleaners, pick his underwear up off the floor, hold a job that’ll bring in a little extra money but which won’t absorb you to the point where you won’t be able to have supper ready at six o’clock every night, & cleave to him only ’til death do you part?”- Gretchen Cryer, 1978, I’m Getting My Act Together & Taking It On The Road

“won’t stand for ANY voter fraud”Unless his side is the one doing it you mean. That’s why he’s making it harder for minorities to vote and eager to take people off voter registries for any reason and demand tribute to go back on. Remember voter suppression is voter fraud.
