Looks like Knute, whom we haven’t seen in a long time. Case of everyone went their own way after high school, some farther than others like Crystal, and never kept in touch.

I kept in touch with several of by high school buds until they stopped replying and and moved. Learned through the high school updates they both pasted away from heart attacks in their fifties.

I can’t see the Knute references, looks nothing like Knute to me. I’d lve to see him and Crystal again btw. This hilarity ensues, and cute, basically showing the love hat Toni has for her niece, and brother, and while Brad can’t stand her brother, his dad instincts are right on. Of course, he is in live with Toni.

Toni. why were you worried? Unless Shannon as gotten a few glimpses (by accident, of course,) of certain equipment belonging to only the male of the species, she would know to add it to the snowman to make it completely “atomic erect.”Though I’d imagine that playing in the snow with you, might bring Brad to a status close to that.

The constant intervention of Shannon is more proof that a father-daughter team cannot write a romantic scene. The “icky” factor is too uncomfortable. “You did what? With who? How many times?”

I think Brad and Toni should adopt Shannon. She’s already family and spend enough time with them.

So how come, in ANY comic strip, when there is a snowman, there are no signs of disturbed areas whence the snowman’s snow came? It’s always smooth, undisturbed in the area, even when Calvin builds his armies of snow people.

How come Brad’s the only one without gloves? I’d imagine his hands would be frozen and numb after handling snow. Guess that’s why he had them in his jacket pockets.

Warning – Grumpy Griper here. I’ve grumpily commented before on my dislike of the “Sunday euphemism” habit that was developing with this comic.. I quit reading or “liking” it several days into the so-called romance arc. I guess I’m too old for this comic. My one hope is that Shannon will remember both the correct and incorrect pronunciations of Brad’s brilliant idea here, and say them at the worst possible moment in public in front of people who will wonder what exactly took place. Innuendo and euphemism and whatever else anyone wants to call this sort of talk are fine for people who enjoy that sort of thing, and comics that make it obvious that they will portray it. Old grumps like me, however, have opinions also. So I’ll just end this somewhat lengthy opinion, and go farther down my “favorites” llist.
