Very apt strip for this week’s weather in Eastern WA. Blankets are a popular item in our house.

Puck’s about to burst your personal bubble Elbiff.

Puck can always tell where Elvis is. Am I right?

Goldie and Lupin still separated for everyone’s safety and comfort, I note.

So sad, the snow is gone thanks to the latest thunderstorm.

I think Elvis is channeling Elvis-Anum, because he is definitely in de Nile.

Have we seen the purple blanket before? The yellow one is an old favourite, and the white one popped up recently.

Even if his tail is sticking out, you still can’t see him. One our cats used to ‘hide’ under the couch by sticking just his head under it. He wasn’t very smart but he was a good boy.

Ladies and gentlemen. Elvis is on the couch.

Pucky in that last frame is beyond adorable!! Loaner cat refuses to sleep under a blanket. She won’t sleep covered period. I have a wool ‘cave’ ball that she’ll sleep in, but she doesn’t see that as being covered because it doesn’t touch her. Sometimes, I wonder if she’s not really a cat at all…

What good is freezing alone in the gloom?

I wanted to snuggle under the blankets this morning, but Smudge had other ideas.

Favorite place to be in a snowstorm is under a blanket.

I do so love these kitties!!!

We got a kotatsu for Xmas. New place to look under if you cannot find a cat. All five under there last night and this morning, even when it’s turned off.

My chihuahuas love being under cover too, especially under fuzzy blankets!

Rico used to get under the covers with me. He was also expert at pulling a fuzzy blanket over himself. Bucky doesn’t get under the covers with me, I think the sheets are too cool. He prefers either being on the comforter (which I fold over so he has a nice bed on the bed), often on/under a fuzzy throw I put there for him, or being on my fuzzy blanket cuddled next to me (also under his fuzzy throw).

He’s not nearly as good at covering himself up, so I usually do it for him – multiple times a night, as he’s a restless sleeper. I’ve started videoing him messing with the fuzzy blankets as he tries to settle down for a nap, it’s so sweet and funny!

Wow, I need my own fluffy cavern!

Every morning there’s a kitty snoozing in the warmth somewhere beneath my wolf blanket

I know that she’s there, but because I like to tease her I’ll pretend I don’t know where she went

Winter time, and the inside is cozy. The blankets fluffy and the kitties are dry. The Woman’s rich and The Man is good-looking. So hush little Elvis now don’t you cry.

OT: Cats hold mixer hostage

This morning Ulka, our 7 month old kitten, tunneled under the blanket I was using in the living room while I drank my coffee. Not her first time. She’s been checking off developmental milestones with great regularity in a timely manner.

Happy news: I bought some fabric and Got the weekend off to rest and make crafts :)

Now when is Lupin going to bounce off everyone under the blankets and make them all POOF?

A Child’s Day

Cavern, cave, same thing. I do that for the boys. And natually neither DC nor Bandit want to share the cave with the other. But DC tends to be a little jerk about it. If he knows his brother is in the cave annd he decides he wants it but doesn’t want to go in and try fighting Bandit for it he’ll just sit on top of the blanket and collapse the cave until Bandit leaves.

Being cozy in bed with your cats snuggled on you is all well and good until you have to pee. T_T
