Most people would know to tune their cymbals before the concert. But not him. Nooo…

At least he’s a snappy dresser, those other 3 percussionists have outfits that definitely clash. The problem is that if they fire him, one of the others will have to play twice which will mean repercussions.

You always, always, always put in a fresh set of batteries before the real performance!

The fifth chair is in the lobby where Spike Jones and his band give a spirited rendition of “You always hurt the one you love”.

This is a very cymbal-minded orchestra.

Pity the poor musicians in the chairs in front of the cymbalists!
