I wonder about Arlo’s expression in the last panel and…the lack of Janis! Say it ain’t so Jimmy!

Let’s not make any assumptions about history and our future. We have to show that we learned from it and can make positive changes.

If you are trying to visualize the future or state your wants and wishes then be very specific and clear. It’s like a contract with the universe. You don’t want anything confusing or ambiguous.

Rod Serling and others had a few stories about unintended wrong consequences and outcomes.

2020 was bad. Without vigilance 2021 will be worse. With the promise of the COVID vaccines people are developing a false sense of security and letting down their guard. For herd immunity it is estimated that 60 to 80 percent of the population needs to have been sick from COVID or have received vaccination. In the USA that’s roughly 200 to 260 million. So far the pace of inoculation has been about 200,000 per day. That needs to be increased 20 fold to 4 million a day (remember you need two shots) to reach herd immunity by August. Don’t let your guard down. Wear masks, socially distance, be safe.

“It ain’t over till it’s over.” Kinda rings true for us all these days.

I hope 2021 will see the fulfillment of the Kickstarter rewards. That would be a nice surprise.

It ain’t coming back… it’s gonna get WORSE, if certain certain CHEATING evil political people are allowed to take our country away.

If WE resolve to make it better, WE can make it better. Otherwise, look out.

I’m not sure 2020 was in my ten worst years. 1965, 1968, 1985, 2014, and 2015 have it beat by a long shot.

Good riddance to 2020, the year when COVID-19 ruined everything – even making President Trump losing the extended election to Joe Biden!

Covid didn’t make Trump lose the election. He was voted out. He lost. He’s acting like a 2 year old who missed his nap. We need a president right now, one who isn’t ignoring the country and spending all his time playing golf.

I like the dark cloud of the coming year.

We already know it will be worse in 2021. You’ll be pining for 2020 soon enough.

Meet the new boss, who is the same as the old boss.

We have been lucky so far. 91yo mom lives in assisted living, but they have been cautious and shut down to visitors before they were required to. But last week my sister (mom’s contact) was told that an employee who mom has been in contact with tested positive so mom is in isolation for 2 weeks. We don’t know if the employee was someone who had minor contact with mom – someone who picked her food tray or passed her in the hall – or someone with a lot of contact such as the woman who helps her shower as they are not allowed to say who it is.
