I sell booze at the crossroads of the new millennium's Meguido. Not in the war zone, just the road to there. Pardon any cynicism, or not.

Covid closed our local drive in theater. Code enforcement basically wants them to rebuild a 60 year tradition to reopen. Now studios want more money from independent theaters. They’ll be lucky if the trailer park survives.

  2. 1 day ago on The Buckets

They say the sun enters Aries on the first day of spring. They’re off by a couple thousand years. Mithras moved the stars, it’s the dawn of the Age of Aquarius. Those who sacrificed bulls gave way to those who sacrificed rams. The fish has been ascendant, but the water bearer suggests high tides to come.

He’s on u-toob. I did not know Dill’s brothers have a channel there. No surprise.

  4. 1 day ago on Baldo

I’m sensing it’s her cousin’s birthday & he’s been pressuring for a “present” for years. She’s not telling Baldo because she doesn’t want him in jail for killing the creep.

  5. 1 day ago on Aunty Acid

I watched the store die for years as the boss funneled money that should have restocked shelves instead enrich the local tribe, who were poor even before the white man. The second California legalized slots on reservations they signed naming rights with Trump to finance the machines. The second the machines paid for themselves his name came off the casino.

The Nigerian that I got was a fashion model who needed help to get out of the country.

  7. 2 days ago on Doonesbury

& out of a billion Chinese, they’ll run into Honey if they go there.

  8. 2 days ago on Bliss

I saw the future. You said what your problem is & then we dealt with that. If you leave out the “you said” part it creates a future with other problems.

  9. 2 days ago on Bottomliners

I’m registered Republican & vote as Frederick Douglass would to take the party back from infiltrating Strom Thurmond’s Dixiecrat, unrepentant Confederate, Republicans in name only.

  10. 2 days ago on The Buckets

Ancient alien “theorists” say pictures of helicopters & submarines are evidence of time travel or aliens. My counter argument is that ancient writings all say they had prophets that knew what they were talking about. Some say it’s satanic delusion. These theories are not mutually exclusive. As for the Mayan triceratops pictures; they had butchers, they had hunters, some tracker noticed some old bones & they probably made good paleontologists.
