Of course, BD originally joined the Army to get out of a term paper…. which maybe wasn’t the smartest thing to do at the time.

I consider having enlisted to be one of my biggest mistakes ever and hated being in the Army. I had problems but made it through and got an honorable discharge. Looking back, I know now that it was a valuable experience. I learned a lot about human nature and it added strength to my character, two things that never happened to the Orange Buffoon. Who’s the real loser, the answer is obvious.

Trump Disciples may try to defend Their Messiah by claiming he didn’t say what he said — their proof being that the multiple sources that heard him say it are still anonymous.

Their defense is half-hearted and they KNOW he said it and they KNOW it is what he believes.

    .

Knowing he said it AND he believes it does not change their opinion of him in the slightest. He is, after all, Their Messiah and by definition he cannot do or say or believe anything that is wrong.

They just add it to the pile of stuff they already know about him, his criminal activities, adulteries, massive corruption, Treason, and all the rest.

    .

They want him to bring back the good old days of open discrimination, Jim Crow laws, being able to tell n_____ jokes at work and all the rest. They are willing to endure living in a Russian oligarchy in exchange. And they will fight like hell for tax breaks for billionaires.

Since Trump’s astral form (or whatever the heck the deal might be) is kind of a luminous blue, what color would the blood on his hands be, if we could see his hands? Or would there be no blood on his astral form because he himself can’t perceive it in real life?

Of course trump said that, and worse. It is totally in keeping with his brain-diseased outlook and values. When he is finally out, the investigations are going to reveal the unprecedented level of corruption that trump enabled for the last 4 years.

Perhaps we needed a piece of human filth like trump and his supporters to show us how fragile Democracy is. Through hard work and voting, we will be rid of trump in January. However, our work will not be done.

The Republicans are at this moment sabotaging government and the economy so Joe Biden inherits a crippled nation. Moscow Mitch has his eye on recapturing the Senate in 2022. Give the GOP credit, they know how to play the long game.

Those of us who have worked tirelessly to oust trump and his GOP enablers need keep reminding people of what can happen if we don’t show up and vote in every election, from local up through state and national ballots.

Trump views life in a prism of black/white, winner/ loser, friend/foe. He graduated from college in 1968, at the peak of the war when 200+ Americans were being killed each week.By that time our leaders and many of the public knew it was a lost cause, we were never going to win; we just wanted to get out with a little “honor”. No one wanted to die for Col. Ky. There was also resentment over have nots being drafted and the haves like trump avoiding service and living the good life. Trump was able to obtain a bogus doctor’s letter and obtain a 4-F status; so in his world view of winners/losers those who were too unable to avoid service were losers and those who thought they were fighting for America and freedom were suckers.

@ERBEN2 He has done a lot of good …

Oh yeah? Like what? Name four accomplishments in his four years. Vagaries like “greatness” or “values” don’t count. Neither do things he’s only talked, bragged, or lied about. What did he actually get DONE?

    Border wall: not built.

    Afghanistan War: still going.

“Easy to win” trade war: still going, sales down, prices up.

Coal-mining and auto-making jobs: still gone.

    Unemployment: worst since Great Depression.

    Farm bankruptcies: rising daily.

    Rural broadband: nope.

    America’s infrastructure: still crumbling.

    College debt: staggering.

    Postal service: under attack.

    Social Security: threatened.

Public schools: funding diverted to for-profit and religious ones.

Drug-abuse and homelessness crises: worse than ever.

Climate change: wants to keep burning fossil fuels.

America’s standing as leader of the free world: trashed.

“Art of the deal”: Won’t negotiate with Congress; broke America’s word on Paris Climate Accords and Iran nuclear bargain; did slap new label on NAFTA.

Law and order: more top administration and campaign officials under indictment in four years than previous seven presidents in 43.

Business management: Cabinet a revolving door of firings and resignations; majority of federal agencies under unconfirmed acting heads.

    Nazis and Klansmen: “fine people”.

Our troops: “losers”, “suckers”, bonus insults for POWs and Gold Star families.

Health care: best in the world — and free — if you’re him.

Coronavirus: total, colossal, unmitigated, blundering, mismanaged catastrophe.

So go ahead, try to find those four gold nuggets in that gigantic pile of manure. Then face the hard reality: he’s running the country the same way he ran his casinos, university, and airline — into the ground. Using other people’s money. Taking no responsibility. Stiffing the people who actually do the work. Because when it’s always all about him, it’ll never be about you.

It is fake news! At least 20 people who were there confirmed this. And to say the 80 year old has dementia is an insult to him. You don’t know anything about him. I guess you are the same dems and never trumpers who spread falsehoods at every turn.

If you haven’t read the far left Green New Deal manifesto, you should. Fossil fuels will be gone or so high you won’t be able to afford them. Check the prices for solar panels for your home, might be shocked. Oh, by the way, you’ll have to reduce completely the carbon dioxide emmisions from your house. Wonder how much that will cost? If you live in the suburbs, be prepared for life to change with housing that’s in the manifesto. I dare you, read it. It will scare the life out of you.

You talk about lies? Harris lied about Lincoln during the debate. Look it up. The Senate wasn’t in session at that time. When it came back in session, the court justice was nominated and approved.

Biden lies all the time, bur I guess it’s okay. Why won’t he say if he’ll stack the supreme court until after the election? If he says he will, people will see him for what he is. He’s saying what he can just to get elected.

By the way, we’re unafiliated, neither dem or rep. My husband is an Air Force veteran from the Viet Nam era.

Yes, he’s done more for the military, especially the VA. Any of you have friends or relatives die during Obama waiting months and in some cases years to see the VA for help? Guess not, or you’d be singing a different tune.

Doonesbury used to be funny…no longer the case. I have removed it from my list.

Remember when the “Swift Boaters” mocked John Kerry’s Purple Heart? No? Fortunate lucky you. Makes you wonder why Democrats didn’t similarly diss W. Bush’s military experience. Oh, wait, that’s right, because he DIDN’T HAVE ANY. Yet the Boaters backed him instead of the decorated veteran. IMHO that was hypocrisy on the level of a matter/antimatter reaction. Someone call in some Cool Monster Fighter like (making up names) Trudy the Troll Hunter or Maggie the Robot Stalker. Isn’t it odd how “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” had so few imitators/ripoffs (I didn’t say “none”, I said “few”)? Female Name + type of monster + noun conveying the basic concept of “adversary,” how hard is THAT? Oh well.
